Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandIt is little difficult to find. Specially when driving and all streets around are blocked for cars in the evenings Skip the Margaritas in the bar, go for the beer and a shrimp tapas - the best I got in Mexico
The location is very nice just in front of the beach

United States of AmericaThe location is AMAZING! Very cute/aesthetic Beachfront property, right by 5th avenue and about a 7 min walk from parque fundadores , ferry to Cozumel and ADO Bus station. The breakfast we included in our booking by the beach in their restaurant was really good. They give you coffee, juice and you get to pick a dish from their selected menu. We had the chilaquiles with chicken and enchiladas suizas plus you get to enjoy the beautiful views as you eat.

CanadaRoom was not cleaned and garbage was not removed. Some of non-essential stuff was old and broken: one of power outlets, blinds rope, faucet dispenser. But it did not affect much our stay. Also there is no vehicle access to the hotel entrance: you need to walk about 200m from nearest point of access.
Large rooms with private access from yard, private and calm internal yard, private beach, good breakfast, restaurant inside the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk.

United KingdomWe liked everything though if we are to suggest improvement, it would be on breakfast, majority based on eggs and unless you are eating the mexican one, it might not be sufficient.
Big bathroom, big bedroom, big terrace with amazing sunrises. Use of the sun beds and plenty of restaurants around, you can also eat at their restaurant, which is really convenient. We had the honeymoon suite and it was just amazing.

AustriaThe shower was most of the time cold sometimes a littlebit warm but not warm warm so you can enjoy the shower. You can hear the music from the beach Bars very loud in your room and yess I am talking from Bars. A Thing i really didn't like was that the waiters start at lunchtime selling the beachbeds of the houseguests to other people so when you do Siesta you won't have a bed in the afternoon.
The Check in Team is amazing they are sooo friendly an welcoming. They are really unique. They waiters are very nice too. The room was big an and the bed comfy. Very clean.

ArgentinaThey charged me 300 MXN for a beach towel that I had left on one of the sunbeds before going for a walk and it seems like someone took it First of all a beach towell deteriorated because of years of use, could never had costed 18 U$D.And apart from that what's the people from the hotel doing if it's not preventing those tipe of events?Charging a guest for an old beach towel 18 U$S is negative for any hotel as a policy..I found it unbelievable and very unprofessional regarding to a business,as a hotel is suppose to be To add something else, the faucet of the shower didn't work the second day.I couldn't open it. It needs to be updated in general. But they fixed it the following day And to sum up,one morning after breakfast that I went to the reception and it was obvious, theyhad been or were smoking marihuana .The smell is something you can not hide...
Location and the fact that breakfast was included and that from the restaurant/ bar you could see the sea.Right next to the beach.

United States of Americathere were only sheets on the bed, no blankets. we were able to get one at the front desk. we liked the proximity to 5th ave but we could hear a little noise at night... not really bad at all for how close you are to everything. i wouldn't even say it was "noisy".
the location is terrific. it is accessed by a side street off of 5th ave. it is a small quaint lovely little hotel. the grounds were very clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. our room was on the upper floor with a view of cozumel island. so cool! the beach access is great. there are free lounges for guests (but get them early) and there are paid ones in front of the restaurant. we ordered nachos that were great and the complimentary breakfast was good as well. i would definitely stay there again. great little find and good price for the location/amenities.

United KingdomThe breakfast offering was a bit limited in choices, except for 2 dishes everything else was eggs based which is not great when you spend 10 days there.
The location, we had the honeymoon suite which was beachfront and had a big terrace a few metres away from the sea. Every morning we could watch the sunrise from the bed and terrace and went to bed every night hearing the sound of the waves . The beach club was also very nice with free sunbeds, shower , bar, restaurant and dj playing live music . Good cocktails too .
