눇Mauricio, the owner, is a really nice guy. He gave us a lot of recommendations of what to do and also recommended a really good surf teacher. Furthermore, Mauricio gives Crossfit classes at the beach for locals and tourists. They are really fun! Don't miss them! The Beachhouse is really great to stay at with plenty of room and a great ocean view. The other facility is a bit closer to the town center and also looks really nice! We traveled around Baja California Sur and this was the best place we stayed at. Really nice!!!

눇My room was comfortable and quiet, but the best thing about Perro Surfero is the gracious and entertaining host, Mau. Next best thing is its proximity to La Esquina-the quintessential great coffeeshop/internet cafe/restaurant only a block away. You are about a 10 minute walk into town, or a 60 peso cab ride, which is truly beneficial when there is an event going on. And don't miss the freshest sushi ever at La Casita.

눉We did not get the facility we booked. Because we had dogs they moved us to a house rather than the in town hotel. The facility we booked stated it was pet friendly, but no they would not allow dogs. The house was down a dirt road, spent 3 hours trying to get back after going to town to use the Internet. The room we booked was a queen bed, bath in room and Internet. We got a double bed, no internet and a shared bath. They said it was an upgrade. They also charged us an outrageous exchange rate. We stayed one night and moved into town to a beautiful hotel that happily took us in even tho we have 3 small dogs. They charged us $15. Per dog at Perro Surfero. The hotel with a beautiful room with a king bed charged us $15., total, for our pets for three nights. The woman from Perro Surfero also only accepted cash, which took away from our spending monies. The bank in this town charges us a huge ATM fee, so we planned on using a credit card for our accomdation. The Hotel in town was professionally run and they took our credit card. The most interesting thing was that the young woman who was taking care of this house for a female doctor from the states said we would have a hard time finding a place that would take our dogs. It took one phone call and five minutes to get another hotel that was far superior.
