I couldn't stay longer. I would not call this a "value" hotel BUT it is worth every penny.

The hotel is just a few steps from the beach. The rooms were nicely decorated with a local touch and offered a lot of space to hang clothes / beach wear. The food was excellent and always freshly prepared. Drinks were also made on the spot with fresh ingredients. Housekeeping was spotless.

This place is truest amazing, what at absolute gem! We shall certainly be back! Tucked away in the jungle with monkeys and wildlife surrounding this little piece of paradise. Fantastic rooms, food and drink you won’t be disappointed! What a wonderful change to the awful all inclusive’s. The yoga was amazing, the entertainment at night was tastefully curated. I have left feeling healthier with the wonderful array of fruit and vegetables. Thank you Petit Lafitte we have had the most wonderful stay.

The one thing that stood out to me the most was one staff member in particular. I’m not sure why he was very unpleasant to us and even raised his voice a bit my last morning when I approached the main food area by the lobby to ask for a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise. He was pleasant to other guests. The previous days, I noticed that he puts efforts to not interact with me and friend in the dinning area. He just ignored us by turning around, not making eye contact and ignoring us even when we kinda waved at him as he served and chatted with a table next to us.

The property is very quaint and cozy. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I love that it’s directly on the beach. I enjoyed the food and most of the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good Every Day.

I liked the location and the nature of this property! The staff and a very welcoming and friendly. I always felt like it is my home. I enjoyed attending the morning yoga sessions after seeing beautiful sunsets.

if i have to find somwthing i would say the bed and the mattress which could be improved

very relaxing stay at the hotel, from the monring to the night. the breakfast was good, the private beach and the pool available, the bar to stay hydraded all day. the yoga in the morning and the diner with local music were a plus.

Location is quite far away from the center of Playa del Carmen so if you are planning to have lunch downtown or go out in the evening, you will need to drive 15km (with a lot of traffic). Rooms are average and would definitely need some refreshment. Wifi in the room was very poor.

All in all it's a nice 3 star hotel with good (but quite cold) pool and cosy beach. We had both breakfast and dinner included and food was tasty and good quality. Massage on the beach was super relaxing.

We were extremely disappointed with food. It was awful! We ended up taking taxi and going to Playa del Carmen for dinner while having here 2 meals included

It was far from main 5th Ave but thats ok because its a 15 min taxi ride. Also nice to be away from crowds and noise

I think the entrance could be difficult in rain season. Beds are too small for two people. Could be queen size.

We loved the Petit Lafitte Hotel because it is a different place, without the crowds of another big hotels. We had a partial ocean view room with a small Balcony that was perfect. We enjoyed hammocks at the beach and to have breakfast and dinner included. We could enjoy another restaurants in town for lunch.
