Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe rooms are basic but passable. They were decently clean, but the floors were sticky, though perhaps from some cleaning product as they didn’t look dirty. The safe in the room did not have a lock. The person who showed us to our room, and picked up our smallest cabin bag, insisted on a tip though we told him we didn’t have any small notes and would tip him in the morning. He wouldn’t leave till we gave him a $20. Some of the people at the front desk were nice, others were impatient and did not come across as friendly.
The location is great, close to everything. There is a nice pool and a small beach at the front of the hotel. The hotel itself and the pool area looks good. It’s a bit set back from the road and is quiet. There are golf carts you can book directly from the hotel which were a better price than those from the street.

United States of AmericaThe room and furniture are basic. The bathroom sink had a soap scum or maybe a coffee stain ring that made it appear not clean, but it might have been a stain. Next time we would love to book a beachside room.
I was pleasantly surprised that the location was better than I expected, it is only about 2 minutes walk to the beautiful Playa Norte. You can just walk along the beach in front of the hotel and a little path leads connects you there. The beach in front of the hotel is too strong and rocky to swim in, but my kids still really enjoyed playing at the edge of the water and in the amazing sand. The 3 pools are excellent!!! The location is only 2 minute's walk to an amazing breakfast place Oh My Brunch and a great coffee shop Bambu plus many other ice cream, restaurants and street tacos! We also appreciated that the hotel is tucked back onto a dead-end road away from all the action. We were in room 27 on the 3rd floor and it was very large. It had a view of a nice palm tree and we could hear the ocean at night. The beds were comfortable, great AC and hot water. The staff was friendly. It was great to have a fridge in the room and then use the microwave downstairs to heat food. The coffee machine in the room and free coffee in the lobby were convenient.

United States of AmericaShower design concept....no shower curtain and glass wall is only half...so floor was wet. But such a small thing. Hot water was plentiful and good shower
Love the location...quiet yet 2 min walk to north beach. Very relaxing. I loved the beach right outside property...tons of shells and sea glass.. room had comfy beds/ mini fridge and safe....and right outside our room was bottled water dispenser....saved us so much $$.

United States of AmericaThe walls were paper thin so bring earplugs.
This place is tucked away from the busy main street which made it both accessible and a haven from the tourists and noise. Room was nice and access to the beach was just outside the door.

United States of AmericaThis is my second time staying in this hotel. For the price we paid, a lot of things could be better. The room floor is always sticky - not sure what cleaning supplies are used but you just cannot walk barefoot in the rooms. They should have a rack to dry swimming clothes clothes etc. We never asked to change sheets and towels, but housekeeping changed it everyday, which I felt was unnecessary. The kitchenette is dusty, dingy and dark, and could definitely use some basic cleaning/improvement. The wristbands are made of hard plastic and are very uncomfortable.
The location of the hotel is amazing. The proximity to the beach and being able to just hear and see the ocean from the hotel room is incredible. The hotel overall is reasonably clean, and the pool is maintained very well. It's a cozy hotel overall.

United States of AmericaWe had water problems from day one, only two of us could shower back to back and the other one had to wait 10-30 minutes before ANY water will come out, by the 3 day there was no power and ZERO water for 24 hours. I’ve stayed a cheaper hotels in isla and never had this kind of issues before. The bathroom is dark and there is no other mirror in the room. A full length mirror would be nice
The location is nice, the rooms were spacious and had plenty of storage, the pool area was very nice!

United States of AmericaThe only thing I can say is that the only microwave is in the common area and is old, not kept clean & is so weak one must heat forever to get anything warm.
Best location! Close to everything. Cannot beat the view. Cannot have a nicer pool area. Keep plenty of water so you can refill your bottles. Check in was fast & easy. Even with remodeling all was kept clean & all was done with safety of guests in mind.

GermanyThe cleanliness in the pool and pool area could be better. We requested a ground floor because one member of the family has trouble with her knee, the hotel does not consider those requests. We had a front ocean room which is a bit dated and had another newer room in a different building, unfortunately the view of the newer room was not good.
Location is really nice, in general all our family had a really good experience.

United States of AmericaFront desk staff didn't seem very informed on their own policies. We needed a bracelet to get in at night and we never received one, fortunately the guard still let us in. The towels were very old and worn.
Great location, close to everything but away from the main tourist location. The sea turtles laying eggs at night was a highlight. The balcony was nice. The room was basic, but clean and had what you needed.

AustraliaIt’s actually not allowed to swim at the beach in front. Not a show stopper, but would have been good to know. The request to wear a wristband 24/7 - not really something I’d expect in a hotel for this price.
