Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMass catering feel of the hotel throughout, due to lack of access to non-buffet restaurants; the small restaurants were always booked, or with long waiting lists. Breakfast was served in the main restaurant which had plenty of space but let down by the poor lighting, lack of daylight and mass catering feel of the huge breakfast space.
Room was a great size and well appointed. There were plenty of pools, but you had to 'bag your spot' early, or loungers with paracols ran out. Breakfast was OK, with plenty of choice. Saving grace was the fabulous omelettes

United States of AmericaThe room seemed super dirty. You can tell they have not done a deep cleaning in years. With the amount of people that stay in the hotels they need to do a much better job at cleaning it. I even felt uncomfortable to sleep on the bed because the comforter was stained & almost seemed like they did not even change the sheets . Super disappointed on how dirty the room was & felt. It just really bummed me out the whole trip!
The staff was super friendly. Lots of food to choose from. The pool was great & over all location was good.

United States of AmericaThe lack of food options during a few times of the day. I was there for my bachelorette party and while I don’t have any grand expectations, nothing special was every done for it. They asked if we were celebrating anything she. we checked in. Why bothering asking. The beach was horrid and disgusting. My friend and I are covered in bug bites, presumably from the sand. I felt the staff was very money motivated but it showed.
The resort is quite large and seems to really be attempting to have something that will appeal to the masses. The rooms are decently sized and the shower was nice. The pool areas are large however dependent on your reservation, you may not be allowed to go to all of them.

United States of America2 years ago (Oct 2020) when I visited the resort for the first time the resort was beautiful and up kept with great food choices, especially in the buffet. Food overall was edible. Meals were practically the same daily. Out ocean view room was ok- ants were in the room on the desk within an hour of our stay. The TV would go out after 1-2 hours turning the screen pink and losing volume. The sinks in the room would literally fill up. Without turning the water off it’d surely overflow. Only one of the kids pools looked clean. The others had plenty of bugs in them, black around the “rock” edges, etc. One of pools literally looked cloudy. I only allowed them in the one pool that looked clean. After the circus there wasn’t much family friendly things going on on site. The kids club is for ages 4-12, so my 3 almost 4 year old was left out. We opted to not leave one without the other when both wanted to attend the “events” they were hosting where parents weren’t allowed. This removed a lot of the “activities” promoted for children. Our biggest dislike was the beach and coastline which was riddled with seagrass…dead seagrass which came with a strong horrendous smell!! The water was LITERALLY brown for at least a quarter mile into the ocean, which meant overall, NO OCEAN OR BEACH PLAY.
Great people, great service, good customer service. our first night they had amazing entertainment for the kids/families- a “circus”- which was the highlight of our trip.

United KingdomCheck in timings Food at Caribbean restaurant Maybe add butlers to hideaway sections
The hotel was excellent, definitely coming back. We checked in with concierge which is different depending on the room booked. It was a bit of a long wait but there were lots of food and drinks while you wait just don’t get too drunk so you can actually check in lol. Food was great. Service was excellent. We ate at most of the restaurants, the only one that was a bit disappointing was the Caribbean and this is only because the menu does not have Caribbean dishes such as jerk chicken and peas and rice. We also visited the spa which was excellent but a bit pricey. We have the couples massage and hydrotherapy. Both are highly recommended and you’ll get the best out of it for your money. We stayed at the terrace jacuzzi room that came with a butler and 25% off spa treatments. Our morning butler Veny was very attentive and check on us multiple times in the day. He made our reservations , always going an extra mile to make us happy. We are also appointed a night butler but we never met or spoke which wasn’t really a problem for us. I wish we stayed at the hideaway away from children and it’s more romantic and gives a private vibes for couples or girls/boys trip. The diamond club beach bar is a but disappointing. I like the swings, cute for pictures. Overall the hotel is really huge , we kept on finding different places and spots each day. The location is far away from the centre/ nightlife what is also known as the hotel zone where you find your attractions, tourist shops and etc. taxi is very expensive $40-50 usd each way. However I felt really safe at the hotel, lots of security and measures to ensure safety.

United States of AmericaThe butler was meh. He wasn’t truly attentive to my needs.
I loved the bartenders. They prepared the best drinks. My favorites drinks included Purple Rain, Miami Vais, and Strawberry Margarita. The staff was exceptional. The food was so delicious. The restaurants were good. The swim up bar was fabulous. My favorite restaurant was Agave. I also loved the palomas and margaritas. Can’t forget the mojitos. I loved the Aqua Fit classes with Astrid. She made it fun to work out in the pool. On our last night there Chef Daniel and Raul the waiter at Agave made us a free culinary experience 3 course meal. This meal was off the menu. The first course was a Caribbean style ceviche with a Caribbean style salad. The salad had strawberry slices and blueberries. It was garnished with a shrimp breaded with coconut. It was all very well plated. The main course included 2 pineapples stuffed with shrimp and topped with cheese. The cheese was melted on top and was delicious. The main course also had una “parrillada.” This included different kinds of grilled meats. The meat was so tender and juicy. The last course was dessert. Since it was my daughter’s 15th birthday, he made a big cake for us. This was totally a surprise. We had no idea. The cake was also delicious. This treat was only for us. They sang my daughter happy birthday and it was truly amazing. They gave us a to go box for the cake. Chef Daniel and Raul the waiter were truly attentive to our needs. They even gave my daughter a balloon. This amazing experience was all at the Agave Mexican Restaurant. The mini fridge/bar was stocked daily with chips and M&M’s. The rooms were clean. The restrooms were so fresh and clean. The stalls were private.
