Out of the 4 people that we met that worked at B Street Hotel, only 2 people were nice and welcoming. One of the girls was amazing and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, while the other girl couldn't be more unbothered. Another thing, just a couple of months ago a new club opened, literally in front of the hotel. So from 10pm till 3am you will hear the music (our room was located in the front of the hotel).

The room was great. Good bed, just enough space, bedlights and sockets on both sides of the bed. The hotel is modern and the location is perfect to explore Georgetown from.

Room was fairly small considering it was a superior room, but were aware of this before booking. Not the best soundproofing.

Greta location near a number of cafes and restaurants for breakfast options. Comfortable accommodation with good air con. Nice warm shower!

Room very small and shower room too. Andnightclub opposite that goes on till early hours. Ask for a back bedroom but with a window. Shame no tea/coffee in the room. Although provided downstairs prefer room option.

The afternoon receptionist, Ameisa, was terrible. She was more concerned about watching her phone than helping the clients. I asked her for the laundry place that they recommended phone's number and she provided the wrong info. I told her and she did not do anything to correct it. Again, she was busy watching her phone. Her actitud both times I encountered her and asked something was like do not brother me, Im busy watching my phone.

It is very small - but you know this from the pictures. There were 3 of us and not a lot of room for our luggage. Aircon wasn’t as strong as it could have been. Also the bathroom light switch is on the outside and the door opens inward so midnight toilet time would wake the the whole room.

Staff were very lovely and friendly. Good location. Modern facilities. Free water refill.

Very loud at night with a club near the hotel, Was awake until 3am. This wasn’t the hotels fault but again hopefully the hotel can have a word with the club as that might affect the amount of people coming. Air con could’ve been better but was okay. Sink smelled of sulphur but it’s the norm in Malaysia and Thailand.

At the beginning I thought that the lack of the window in the room will create discomfort, but I realize that at 36°C and high humidity anyway I'll keep the window closed.

A hotel in the old & traditional Penang, in the middle of the food street, shops, souvenirs. Helpful staff. A great location if you want to feel the city, the old city.

the bed was very hard, the tiles in the bathroom were dirty, you could hear the neighbours loudly

The room, and the facility worth by money. BUT, near at the hotel there is a “Club” which beginning start at 10 pm until 3 am. Its not Really loud music. But I still can hear the music. For someone who have Trouble sleep, u could have hard sleep. But all, its good.

The location is Very strategic tO the tourist place like Armenian Street, and there is a bunch or nice cafe near the hotel. Its walking distance. The price of the room that I booked is value by money. But What I dont like is, when I choose type of payment is PAY AT THE PROPERTY, the hotel still try tO charge my card twice. Its supposed tO be the hotel not try charge my card bcs I choose type of pay at the hotel. I didnt understand why the hotel do that. Bcs I use tO choose type of that paymen in another hotel before, and the other hotel never charge my card before I arrive.

The staff weren’t helpful, didn’t talk, not really friendly. On booking.com we were told a price etc and that we would pay at the property Unfortunately they took way too much money out of our bank account without permission. More money than what was confirmed. If I had known we were going to be charged the certain amount, I would have stayed elsewhere as it wasn’t worth the price we had to pay. We could have got much better for the price

The room was really small - good for 1 backpacker but 2 people would fit in just for a short stay. I would expect the staff at the reception to be more welcoming and customer-oriented. So I had no good first impression. More smiles would be appreciated (especially ladies at the reception). However, It's not a bad option to stay.

Small but clean room with comfortable bed. Good location and ok wifi, AC. Good enough for 1 person for max 1-3 nights but nothing extra really - I would say it could be a bit cheaper.

Squeaky door of the bathroom, the soundproof quality was not good as we can hear the water running in the pipe, and the AC was loud so affecting the sleep

Staff were very friendly, they called us to check on our check in timing, and they have the 24 hours reception service.
