The room which my mum stayed - notice stain on the bed linen when we checked in. However, the Housekeeping supervisor helped to change to the opposite room. My wife's room - water was leaking from the mini fridge however it was rectified by the next day.

The service staff such maintenance staff, bell boys, front service counter were all good and polite. They were very forthcoming in providing help and assistance. The location was good. Most of the seafood eateries and new joints such as Korean BBQ and Thail Hot Pot restaurant are located within the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was normal but was improved abit. The tvs are now working showing Vasantham this time.

The room we had was likely directly above the hotel's nightclub. The sound coming from the nightclub downstairs was really bad for my sleep when i switched aircon off due to my mistake of not being able to find the control panel for each individual lighting. The vibration of the sound reverberated through the walls. The second night was better, as I found the light button panel and managed to keep the aircon on while switching off the lights using the control panel for individual lights. The vibration from the nightclub music was less visibly felt. Traffic was really bad too on the way in to the hotel at dinnertime. Took a very long time to travel a short distance from City Square back to the hotel on the road leading to the hotel. The bathroom was clean but very very old. They did not upgrade the hotel fittings likely for last 20 years? The finishing of the bathroom wooden door was very badly damaged / chipped. The hotel tried to save money by not switching on aircon in the central area. Hotel central area was very musty smelling as a result. I saw buckets on the floor, to capture leaks from the ceiling. The spa at the hotel called NZ Spa, was not owned by the hotel. When my kids and I tried to check it out, the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke and they immediately told me they are not part of the hotel. They likely serve a different clientele.

Hotel room was relatively clean. Spacious - They gave us connecting rooms for 1 adult and 2 kids. The swimming pool. The Starbucks cafe downstairs next to the hotel.

Carpark to rooms accessibility. Musty carpet smell Unmaintained carpets, torn Water seepage at public areas Breakfast below expectations Back lane of building, dark and felt not safe at all. Ppl consuming alcohol everywhere in the dark. Perimeter road is bad Hotel needs major retrofitting and upgrading.

breakfast not many choice and no top up timing breakfast 700-1030 i come down for breakfast 850 some of food no top up especially bread and fruits.. room1410 so dusty table beside bed... for room 1651 same dusty smelly kettle dirty seat sofa have many peanuts room smell like beer drop on carpet. others ok good only rooms cleaning and breakfast need to improve
