Room is wonderful value for money. the location is super as its on the opposite side of Spring Mall and walking distance to Swinburn University of technology. ideal for Parent who are visiting their children studying at Swinburne University. there're few restaurants close by specially " Spoon " is a good restaurant with tasty food for reasonable price. we are very much satisfied with Citadines . it has a Nice Laundry Facility with Washer & Drayer and need to buy Tokens from the Front Desk

Price is misleading, there is a 8% sales tax in addition to the total bill. Should have said so more clearly Rooms are pricey , better choices at full service hotels Room cleaning not done second night , staff were too busy to handle large numbers of rooms Broken sofa in living room , worn and not replaced Bathrooms and furnishing are dated .

There’s an odd smell in the toilet and hall area. It’s still bearable.

Near to town, quiet and just opposite a mall. Close to quite a few good places for meals.

The access card for going in and exit into the basement parking and to level rooms sometimes doesn’t work. *prefer just tap/scan the access card much convenient for the guests*

Supposedly check in time is at 3pm. However our rooms are not ready until 5pm. Too many guests I guess.

The room are clean and great. Our room are upgraded to 2-bedrooms apartment. Equipments in the room are complete ie microwave, stove. There is Coway water dispenser on the hallway. Very convenient.

1) unclear about booking payment when booked via agent and booking.com (but the front desk staff was helpful to resolve) 2) the drain/ sewage smell at Level B parking area has not been solved for many years since we first stayed here. 3) why must the hotel van be parked in the front of the building making it difficult for vehicles to maneuver?

It was not easy to find entrance to the hotel even when using navigation (hotel is located over shopping center)

Can be improved. 1. It was supposed to be a large double bed when i booked. But the room i got was two single beds put together. Shouldnt it follow the selection made upon booking? 2. The water outlet (below) in the shower was stagnant. After showered, there's like a pool of water probably about 1 1/2nches high. But it subsides after a while. 3. The non stick pan needs to be replaced. Worn out. 4. Some of the bowls, plates and mugs were not in pairs. I booked for 2 pax. At least a pair of these would have been great.

The room was superb. The comfort, the facilities and the cleanliness was amazing. It was worth the stay and for the money paid.

The walls/door of the rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear everything from all rooms.

The rooms are exactly as pictured on the website. However, what surprised me was the 'hallway' to the rooms. A long walkway through a little jungle. It matches very much with the reason people stay there (for the monkeys and/or sunbears). The hotel staff is very friendly. Checkin was super easy (and fast), the restaurant is nice with decent prices. And with 5-10 minutes walking you are at the monkey sightseeing! Excellent location!

The bathroom was worn out and in need of an upgrade. Sofa was unclean, dusty and felt unsanitised. Overall furnishing and decor felt basic and somewhat cheap. For the price paid and the association with Citadines and Ascot brand, this property does not live up to its name. They are in my opinion better accommodation on offer in Kuching for the price paid.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice swimming pool that opened till late - was a nice feature with the kids.
