To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Singapore1. Toilet bowl of one room had some left over stains, so more attention needs to paid during cleaning. 2. Welcome fruit platter is no longer provided although price of entire stay for same duration as last year had increased a whopping 44%. 3. Seems chefs and cooks at live stationsare either busy with some other preparations rather than wait to serve customers and quite a number seem to be pulling faces, making ordering food uncomfortable to say at least. No improvements this area since last stay.
1. Staffs were courteous and friendly making stay all more comfortable. 2. Breakfast and lounge access is always highlight during stay at this hotel.

United KingdomI found the furniture a bit dated and maybe just needs to be modernised a bit. The pillows are slightly uncomfortable to sleep in.
The hotel it self is lovely, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Always greeting you and the breakfast buffet is great. It is also a very good location, walking distance from the Twin towers and the shopping centre for food. I also liked that we had access to the Spa facilities such as Sauna and steam room and it was separated for men and women.

The staff and customer service impresses me most. Second, the facilities. For instance, my wife needed to see a doctor because of a fall she took on our vacation in Bali prior to arriving at your hotel. I called up the Shangri La and was told finding a doctor would be no problem. Sure enough after checking in the Shangri La concierge made an appointment for us and we were escorted to a clinic in the adjoining building. The experience was a total breeze and even easier than if we were home. There are many I could single out who cared for us on our stay, but I will just mention Alisya, Mr. Fazrul and Babu as coming to mind most of all. Regarding the facilities, after a long trip around Southeast Asia, it was nice to spend an entire two days hardly leaving the Shangri La. Swimming pool, restaurants and grounds all contributed to a short recovery before returning home.

Additional restaurants on property. Plus a steam and sauna room with jacuzzi. The bfast was awesome. Great views from my room. The spa was terrific got an A+massage from Yanna the best. And Aiman was just awesome ran upstairs to get my key activated. Simply the best. I’ll stay there again for sure.
