We didn’t see any staff the whole time because of a ‘self-service’ style of operating but then kept getting messages from the property asking us to pay… the desk is only open 9-5 so if you need to rent a motorbike, or pay, or anything it has to be in those hours. Not handy for us as we were often out early and back late.

The property was really cool, in nature and a great bathroom and comfy bed!

Very hot rooms, recommend to leave door open and purchase some mosquito coils from the shop outside.

Lovely staff, great outdoor area with loads of interesting wildlife, rooms was comfy and clean, very good location. Free water refills. Staff accommodated me having an interview online and set up a nice quiet space for me :)

If you get a room with just a fan you will still find it very hot as the fans aren't the strongest. They help but you'll probably want to pay the extra for AC. There were also lots of ants in the bathroom, although they didn't really bother you.

Lovely and tucked away (but close enough to Cenang beach), great environment around with all the fish ponds. Super friendly and helpful staff.

If you're not fond of lizards, frogs and monkeys then maybe you can skip this stay. After all its a stay in the nature. The downside is no mini bar, no hair dryer (only upon request and have to pay extra). The comforter is too thin. No kettle or cups to mix coffee or tea. No television. The stay is just a master bedroom actually. There is no parking provided, only park by the roadside.

The stay is nice. It's just a room to sleep for a pair of two. Value for the money. Located very near to airport and Cenang Beach. There is a mart down and a seafood restaurant next to it. The restaurant staffs are very nice and welcoming. The food is decent too.

Warm water would be great! But in the heat, cold showers are still feasible ;) A mosquito net would be a great addition and a better blanket.

The only thing that really grinds my gears is how hot the room can get at noon. Even the air conditioning unit is like, 'I'm doing my best, nyahh!' Maybe the roof is too low, or maybe the air conditioning needs a little TLC. But, hey, who needs a spa day when you can just sweat out all your toxins in the comfort of your own room? All kidding aside, I would definitely come back for another round of tropical heatstroke. This room is perfect for those who spend most of their time outdoors and just need a place to crash. If you prefer to stay inside the hotel, then you might want to consider taking up sunbathing as a new hobby.

TStar's vernacular architecture is a sight to behold, but the bed sheet and curtain design might be painful to look at - you might need some eye drops after! The comfy bed is a saving grace though. The chalet blends so well with nature, you'll feel like you're living in a fancy treehouse. And at night, the crickets and frogs serenade you with their mating calls - it's like a nature concert. The bathroom is a beautiful oasis, complete with a large window that lets you soak up the jungle vibes, although the loose pebble stones are like a puzzle that you didn't sign up for. But if you're looking for a unique experience that will get you closer to Mother Nature, TStar is the perfect place for you. Just don't forget to pack your mosquito repellent, or you might end up being their local blood bank.

Some garbage thrown about the garden was not removed. No moskito screens for doors and windows.

Nice bungalows in pretty garden. Farihah, the lady at reception, was very friendly and helpful. Motorbike rental worked out fine.

Bed sheets seemed pretty old, pillows were not too comfortable, we were losing wifi signal a couple of times.

Cozy and chilled place. Jungle surroundings give really nice vibe. We had a very calm and peaceful stay. Rented a scooter from there as well. They don't accept children there - you can like it or not, but we really enjoy our time when there is no kids playing around or screaming, so that,s a big plus from us ;)
