Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South KoreaThere were guests smoking onsite at the beach, with the smoke drifting and can be smelled at other parts of the resort. The service at Tide was not great, with our reservation not written down, drinks order needed to be chased up, and side dish of wilted spinach was way too salty.
Good variety of food offered at breakfast buffet, efficient monitoring and turning over tables for such a large resort. Decent size rooms. Helpful and efficient cleaning staff and reception staff.

United States of AmericaNo fan in the bathroom. That was the only thing
This place had everything, staff to book all your events around the island; a driver to get you there. The most amazing part was the bespoke tailor who would craft you a suit for cheaper than I can buy off the shelves. There was nothing about this place that wasn't amazing.

PakistanThe Westin Hotel boasts a beachfront location, although the beach itself may not offer the ideal experience due to the presence of small shells that can be uncomfortable to walk on, reminiscent of broken glass. However, the hotel compensates for this by providing three exceptional swimming pools that offer guests an excellent alternative for aquatic relaxation and enjoyment.
The Westin Hotel offers a captivating ambiance, surrounded by lush greenery on one side and a picturesque beachfront. The staff's hospitality is exemplary, ensuring guests feel genuinely relaxed and indulged throughout their stay. Our room, though not directly facing the sea, still provided a delightful view, shielded from the noise of the pool area. Service and housekeeping were commendably swift, promptly attending to our room and replenishing water bottles multiple times a day. The breakfast spread was exceptional, featuring a diverse array of cuisines including Malaysian, Japanese, Indian, and Continental, rendering the need for lunch outings unnecessary. While Langkawi may not offer extensive shopping or leisure options, the hotel compensates by offering a variety of entertainment choices such as live music, water yoga classes, and activities catering to children's interests. Although slightly removed from the central hub, the hotel is conveniently situated within an 8 to 10-minute walk from Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall and Kuah Pier, where guests can explore dining options including the highly recommended NJoy Thai Food café for reasonably priced, excellent Thai cuisine. Additionally, the Black Pearl Massage at the pier provides a worthwhile relaxation experience.

SingaporeThe two times we had dinner wasn't as great as our expectations or the price that was charged. The fixtures could be in need of some repair (esp the bath tub) and it does look a bit worse for wear around the resort. We were also disappointed that the information given to us by the staff on the 'dine and save' promotion was inaccurate, we were told on our last night that we could always top it up the next day, but we were then told on our last day that they were unable to do so, so we ended up spending more than we should have.
Breakfast was decently good, with a wide range. Some of the food could become cold perhaps because there wasn't a lot of people and much of the food would have been pre-cooked. Staff was very friendly and helpful, very responsive. The views around the resort were absolutely stunning. The Spa was amazing, one of the best that I've ever been to. The room was big, had an excellent view (partially blocked but we expected that from the description already), water pressure, temperature and air-con were very good.

United KingdomVery lovely hotel! Great breakfast, spa and hotel facilities. As it's a resort and spa it's quite far from the main town but the marina is walking distance and there are a few restaurants if you don't fancy eating at the hotel.

Singapore1. Bathtub in room was a good addition but the water from the bathtub tap was often yellow- perhaps the management could look in to fixing this? 2. While the breakfast spread was tasty, there is some lack of flavour in the food for lunch and dinner at the main restaurant. Italian ( pizza, pasta) is good overall but Asian food could with more flavour and taste - we travelled as a big group- couple of families together and this is what almost everyone felt.
Beautiful, comfortable resort - perfect for families. Staff are very polite and friendly, good service. Breakfast spread and taste is very good. Pool , beach , pool cocktails are great. Rooms are of a good size, spacious. Spa was great - special shout out to Ruby, who did my massage - she was simply amazing.
