My friend and I really loved it! The staff and owners went above and beyond accommodating our needs , there wasn’t hot water due to construction, but they were heating water for us every morning for our showers. Thank you so much to Martha, Ana , Ryan you guys rock! Also thank you to our private driver Kenia , she was driving us all over Nicaragua!!

A little far from town and there are a lot of neighbourhood dogs barking in the night.

The staff were great and very accommodating - we had some laughs trying to translate from English to Spanish.

Just something to be aware of: you have some exposure to “nature” staying in the bungalow so be aware of bugs and whatnot. Just part of the experience and the mosquito net and friendly house geckos keep everything at bay!

Loved the peacefulness of this place. It’s a bit outside León but very easy to flag down a taxi into town. The staff are delightful and very willing to help at any point. Staying in the bungalow was a fun experience.

The restaurant was not fully working and they were limited to breakfast only, however staff was polite and accommodated my needs at the time.

This is a hidden gem! Wonderful boutique hotel with the most friendly staff, great pool and the unit are really comfortable not to mention that the outdoor style yet private bathroom really brings your stay to a other level. The pool is large enough and the breakfast was great. All in all, probably one of the nicest place I've stayed and price vs value is 10/10. Definitely would recommend and I will stay there again.

We would have loved to stay in a bungalow (they are so cute!) but there is no AC inside. The rooms have one, that's why we chose this in the end (I recommend this because it's really hot and humid!). Maybe next time when we come back we can stay in a bungalow with AC :)

A little hidden paradise! We LOVED it so much! Very clean. Very clean pool. Awesome garden!! One of our favourit place on our worldtrip (one year travelling)! A little away from León (we had a car so this didn't bother us) the oposite! It is very calm and peaceful because of the area & vibes. The boss was always there and speaks fluently english. She and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming! They do everthing possible for you to make you comfortable. We would come again anytime!

- it’s not within walking distance to restaurants or stores. So accessing the area requires a taxi if you have not rented a car. - the shuttle from the airport cost me $100. I would have appreciated the information beforehand. - complimentary breakfast consists of either a small bowl of cornflakes or a small bowl of fruit. It wasn’t enough to get full.

I really enjoyed the owners and the staff. They were warm and helpful. The room was clean as well as the pool. It was relaxing and nice to have AC in my room.

It was a little way out of city centre. If you want to be close by. Not a problem for us as we enjoy being in quiet areas and a short trip to highlights, immersing in the culture and peace when you return to hotel.

The Hotel was very clean. The staff were exceptionally accommodating with translating for us. Taxis to town. Food could be delivered. The in-house breakfast and service was good. The pool was cleaned daily and very enjoyable. We stayed in a traditional casita and loved the outdoor bathroom.It stormed most nights. We stayed dry, nice to see the rain on the roof and no bugs.

We had no complaints. For some, it may be difficult to drive the road in a car during rainy season. Wifi was spotty but that is to be expected everywhere here during a rain.

Property was beautiful and the room was quaint and cozy. Bed was comfortable and had a great night’s sleep with the rain sounds. Outdoor shower was refreshing, recommend using during a rain! Staff were friendly and helpful. It is pet friendly. Pool and property were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent.

Overall the Hotel, Staff and Location are excellent. I highly recommend Hotel Mariposa. The staff is very helpfull. And the breakfast was very good.

A mini fridge in the room would have been nice.

The room was lovely, but it is open air at the top and the bed has a mosquito net, which wasn't even needed, there were no mosquitos. The bathroom has no roof, it's like showering outdoors, we were surprised at first, but it was quite a nice place! Free breakfast was great too! The pool and grounds are also really nice!
