Ernesto was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was on the top floor with very very tight stairs, not ideal for people with limited mobility. The room was lovely, could do with some tlc but it is a listed building so limited by what can be done. Location is perfect and very central. I would recommend.

Absolutely outstanding stay in the heart of Amsterdam. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Helped with bags and left snacks. Helped my husband make a fantastic effort for my 40th by decorating our room. No request too big. All attractions walking distance and 15 walk to central station. Tram line 2 min walk. Plenty of places to eat and drink . Room directly overseeing the flower market. Fantastic location. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Can not highly rate it enough. A must stay if you're thinking of going to Amsterdam.

Lovely apartment with easy walking access to the various Amsterdam districts, and about a 15 minute walk from the station. Lovely to have a canal right outside with the tulip market and various tourist shops, cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfy and Ernesto made for a wonderful host who replied quickly to sort out any issues we had.

My only complaint is that the bathroom had a bad smell at times. We told Ernesto about it and he said that he will try to correct the problem. 

The property looks exactly as described in the photos. It was very clean and Ernesto had a little snack basket ready for us. It is in a good location in a busy area. I think it would’ve been a little noisy if we had needed to leave the windows open.  there are many restaurants and bars nearby.  Many major sites are located about a 15 minute walk away. There is good public transportation. Ernesto was a very friendly host to responded quickly to all of our questions.

From the photos, I expected to have a small kitchen, but we only had a kettle and a fridge. The mattress is very soft, not my preference. Stylish bathroom, but had an unpleasant smell. Our host tried to find the reason and fix it, but unfortunately it didn't disappear.

Amazing location, right by the flower market. Authentic,, characteristic Amsterdam walk-up. Lovely, accommodating, responsive host. Exposed beams, It is just off the street with a lot of bars, so if you'd like quiet evenings, might not be the best option for you. The windows do filter quite a bit out though.

Niets. Nothing to dislike.

Ernesto and Terrence were superb hosts from providing help with luggage to sharing local knowledge and advice. The location of Amsterdam 4 Holiday makes it an easy walk to most sites in the city. It is also a short walk to multiple tram lines that can take you anywhere you like. Add to that the charisma of being on the flower market and canals, the guest room is totally gezellig.

Nothing was a dealbreaker for us, though the steep stairs (as I’m sure is common in Amsterdam) may be difficult for some. It was not an issue for us, but for anyone who might struggle with three flights of stairs with luggage, be aware there is no lift. However, Ernesto was incredibly kind to help us with our luggage!

We loved the location of this charming apartment! We were welcomed with a small basket of yummy snacks and waters on the table, which was such a nice touch. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was SO comfortable. We easily could’ve slept a day away with how comfy the bed was. This was located a short walk from our tram stop and was very easy to find with Ernesto’s directions and great communication. With the floating tulip market just outside, we felt like we were very close to the things on our to-do list without being in the middle of it all and felt very safe as well. There was light chatter and music outside our window at night, which we left open to enjoy the night breeze, but we didn’t feel the noise prevented us from sleeping. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper! The bathroom was modernly renovated and very very clean, plus included soaps and shampoos. All-in-all we were very happy with our stay here and will book again the next time we’re in town.

The only thing I would say is that there is no lift so if you have a lot of luggage the 2 flights of stairs could be an issue

Our room was at the top floor, 2nd floor, the steps is small and narrow. Not a big deal for us adult couple but definately not for kids or older people. Ernesto was kind enought to help us with our luggage up and down so it doesn't worry us much.

The property is in between the flower market and pub so it's quite lively at night but cannot really hear much noise from our room. Ernesto is very kind and friendly and introduces us few places to go as well as the bike rental nearby. The room was much spacious that we anticipated and all the amenities were well provided. Linen & towels were of very good quality and we had a comfortable sleep. Bathroom is clean and water pressure is strong and shower gel are all provided, they also provide hand towel, face towel & big towel which is very nice to use.
