Whilst my room, bedding and shower room were clean, the carpet was in need of a deep clean. They were heavily stained and an area where the colour was absent by a spillage. Room 235. It was also disappointing that I had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights 4 months in advance at a cost of €2362 euros. My son booked his room a few weeks before travelling for €880 a difference of €250 per room.

The area isn’t the most hip, but you’re quickly everywhere. The pillows where so big that u would have been straight sitting if I lay down on it :D

Having to pay an £150 holding fee/deposit was a surprise at check in. They also provided smart tv’s in the room which you couldn’t do much with.

Lightening of the room. on winter time you will need more light if it was summer I am sure we would not have this problem.

The room is very pleasant, very spacious and tidy. There's not much lightening what is good if you want to relax after a lot of steps during the day. Could be a problem if you want to work until late in the room.

Nothing particular that we noticed. however, there was no water bottles in the Room when we entered, would be nice always to have a bottle or two.

Staff was extremely polite, gentle in handling queries and cheerful. Hospitality is key which makes the consumer feel a sense of validation to the money he/she pays. Breakfast was amazing.

The leak in my room

The property is modern but really more of a brush over what needs repairing . Our room had a leak which left a puddle in our room . They offered to move room after complaining but it was NYD 8am when I noticed it and hadn’t been in bed that long so wasn’t the right time to move . The staff made the stay . The lady with the short grey hair was super nice 😊

Not really a budget option and slightly out from the city centre, although this is easily reachable by bike.

Really nice hotel, more on the luxury end of the spectrum. Concierge was fantastic and the bike rental was very convenient, if not the cheapest.

The fixed TV settings which you could not even change brightness on, the toilet wasn't as clean as expected from a pricey hotel. The decor of rooms is a little dark for my liking , but that's just personal preference. Pillows were not as comfy, a bit too high for me. The heating was a not as easy to use.

Location, staff, comfortable bed. Wre had a nice view over the water. The bathroom robe and slippers are a plus. Hair dryer , with diffuser was a nice touch 👌🏻.

Very minor points: 1. The room did not include a kettle, only a coffee machine - it was quite awkward to use this to brew tea (using hot water function) - also, the water/coffee was dispensed in fixed amounts which caused the cups to overflow. 2. China cups would have been better in the breakfast room, rather than paper cups with plastic lids.

The location was very good. Although just outside the central area (and therefore better value), it was a short walk to transport, and the Rijsmuseum. The room was very comfortable and quiet. There was an excellent choice for breakfast, which was very well-presented. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Bathroom facilities was as bit too old, you could see some rust on the bath and the toilet seat could be changed since it started changing colour and becoming a bit yellowy . But all of this doesn’t really matter or impact the stay.

Really cool design, the staff was super welcoming and helpful. They let us checkin earlier around 13pm which made us really happy since we were super tired from the trip. I informed them that it was my birthday and our wedding anniversary and they brought us ballons, small piece of cake and note which we thought it was super cute and it really made our stay extra special. The view from the room was beautiful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable as well. The lobby and the restaurant down stair was super pretty and aesthetic and it’s really worth chilling in there for a bit.

A bit far from the metro, one needs to walk at least 10 minutes to catch a tram or metro. Not many options of restaurants nearby which is a downside and the hotel restaurants close at 11. Hence getting late dinner or a mid night snack is not convenient especially when your touring the city. Lastly, the rooms could have 1 bright light. Most of the lights are for relaxing :)

Buffet breakfast had a good spread and quality of food is very good. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
