Location, soft bed, size of the room

Room is very dark, no lighting by entrance and even with all floor lamps on it still very dim. Soap dispensers in bathroom not working properly and the one in the shower was not attached to the wall so difficult to get anything out of.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, very good food in the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet, plenty of parking, great view from the restaurant.

Restaurant was temporarily relocated which may have affected this, but the service was very, very poor with no recognition of their shortfalls or apologies. Our forgotten & seriously delayed drinks and more importantly the main course for 2 out of 4 of us was badly thrown together and not as described on the menu. I’d love to return at a different time of year when hopefully the restaurant & staff have a manager to direct & train staff.

Location, location, location! Lovely big comfy rooms and modern ensuite. Nice staff. Beds were a tad too soft but that’s a personal choice.

The beds were softer than I like and with the duvets most hotels now use it is hard to regulate sleeping temperature. It didn't help I found out later that the radiator is not connected to the thermostat. The light switches were hard to figure out. Several lights are connected in strange ways.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, good breakfast, the bacon was actually crisp this morning!

Location and size of room

- First room we got had a lot of spiders in the room with spiderwebs. - No Airconditioner in the rooms. Shower-drainage was not working fine. - Bad light equipment. There was just one portable light in the room. - Bad was too soft. I may for some people good, but not for me.

Just the lake and the size of the room was good. It was good for the price. Car parking lot was with no charge.

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

I would suggest to add a bottle of water in the room, unfortunately there was none. The noise insulation is not very good, we could hear the rain or people outside the room walking by, but still not a big concern. We would come again for sure.

Nice view on the lake, nice area nearby to drive through. The room was very comfortable, we also had a kettle and a coffee machine. You can stay here and drive to Amsterdam in 25 minutes, it is cheaper, more comfortable, quite and clean.

Great value for the money

Not clean. They didn’t clean the terrace nor the bathroom. We complained at the reception. Only fresh towels but no cleaning. The door to the terrace was broken no one came to fix it nor did they give us another room

No A/C was very warm in the room n couldn’t sleep. No mini fridge and sliding door balcony was jammed

Although the room was huge and there would be plenty of space for more furniture, there was no fridge. Difficult for us as we had things with us that needed refrigerating.

We stayed one night in a sea-facing room which was huge (paid a little extra for the type of room and sea view). Very comfortable with a balcony. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but went to one nearby. Helpful and friendly staff. The room had a kettle and tea/coffee/sugar. Would stay again - lovely area.

poor air conditioning

There is a minimum of amenities though in the bathroom. Just foam in the shower and hand soap. Cupboard space is also the bare minimum and the tv was in a weird place. The walls are thin and one can hear the tv of the neighbors clearly.

The location and the view are fabulous. We had a room with a view of the lake. The room was nice and spacious. The noise-cancelling insulation was very good. As soon as you close your little terras door, we could not hear the party on the terras below. The free parking is great. The staff improved by the day. We notice the shortage of trained people, but they did their best and we can only appreciate that. Jeroen and Hetty at reception and Salim in the restaurant deserve extra attention. Thank you for making our stay special.

Limited view of lake. Mosquitoes = not able to open window so too hot at night - aircon totally ineffective. Sound of fans (?) most of night.
