Very accessible the bus station is just nearby. Restaurant and pub down below, no need to get out after a long day outside, we enjoy the foods and drinks. Nice staffs

As anticipated for a city hotel with a long history, the accommodations leaned towards the traditional side, lacking modern flair and spaciousness. The bathroom, in particular, was notably compact. The overall square footage of the bedrooms, especially those with balconies, left room for improvement as the information provided only indicated the total area without specifying the actual bedroom size.

The hotel offered a solid and commendable experience. The staff was consistently available, friendly, and willingly accommodated even the smallest requests, such as promptly providing an extension cord for our CPAP machine. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. What set this experience apart was their ingenious system of checking in advance on guests' preferences, including how they prefer their eggs prepared. This thoughtful approach not only ensured that our desired breakfast items were warm and ready at the right time but also showcased a commitment to minimizing food waste. Located conveniently in the heart of Hillegom's city center, the hotel's setting added to the overall positive experience, providing both convenience and charm. In summary, the hotel provided a reliable and pleasant stay with attentive service, thoughtful breakfast management, and a convenient location.

The immediate environment is not very inspiring, but that was not what we expected.

Staff was very friendly at every interaction during our stay. The restaurant serves a very decent dinner and we enjoyed a well-organised and complete breakfast.

Air conditioning was making quite some noise. Also difficult to access the top rooms with luggage as they are only accessible by stairs.

Spacious rooms the balcony was a bonus. The onsite resturant was excellent for wvening meals but thought the breakfast overpriced for what was on offer. Its location is excellent for shops, supermarkets, resturants etc. Tennis centrre about 10 min walk, train station 20 min walk

The room was big and very well organised. Nothing missing at all. We stayed just one night while going to the airport. There's the possibility to have breakfast, but we need to leave and we couldn't try it!
