The radiator kept rattling all through the night so it was difficult to sleep. Rooms were not like the pictures online but were still nice. The stairs were never mentioned until I had to climb up them with my suitcase.

I was on the ground floor and the toilet was on the 2nd floor which was not great in the middle of the night either very tight stairs. Also there was very loud music from the outside in the middle of the night so it made it hard to sleep. The shower was very rusty and old and didn’t feel very clean.

Location was great, room had a sink which wss useful. The WiFi was working great and the room was a perfect size for one person.

the only one thing I would say is on some occasions I would be woken up by the noise of the radiator and it was constant really noisy sound comes from it. I would also recommend if they are painting to not paint while guests are in the hotel the stairs was blocked on one occasion and I had to move a ladder out of the way to get down the stairs and also got paint on my jacket etc from the walls as they painted the walls up the stair way and it’s the only way to get to your room no wet paint signs either.

We really like the hotel, friendly staff comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Overall it was a good place to stay. Nice location in Leidsplein loads to do if not wanting to be in the main city centre on all occasions.

Our room was in the basement (room 29) and looked nothing like the pictures. The stairs were really steep and I fell down them a few times. No wardrobes or drawers to put any clothes. The bathroom door did not open fully as the bed was in the way. There were 2 fans in the room which we were confused about to begin with but the room was incredibly hot even though it was wet and cold outside. Better conditions in a Swedish prison.

Drains in the bathroom were a little smelly. Soundproofing between rooms (especially the doors) could be improved. Stairs were extremely steep to get to the room, however this seems to be fairly normal in Amsterdam.

Staff were excellent; friendly and helpful. Right next to the the Dolphins Cafe. Very central location with good trams links and walkable to many places. Comfortable bed. Kettle in the room. Couldn't hear the street noise from the back rooms.

When we arrived we were shocked by stairs that lead to our room. There was no elevator and we had to carry our 20kg+ suitcase up the steepest staircase I’ve ever seen. The towels had stains on them and there was hair in the shower when we arrived. We were also shocked with the information that the breakfast we would be eating is at another hotel. This was a 5-10min walk, so not far but still.. The breakfast is mainly bread and cheese with some extra stuff… Very boring.
