Nothing that I didn't like....more a suggestion that the room could do with a Hotel/Orientation Brochure/Folder outlining breakfast times, emergency procedures, contacts. Local amenties, things to do etc

Free Room Upgrade on Check In Lovely large room - suite Very comfortable bed Great helpful and friendly staff - including those in Cafe de Sigaar. Very nice contiental breakfast served in Cafe de Sigaar (well worth stopping for a coffee or beer) Nespresso Coffee Maker to get the mornings moving. Good rainforest style (plus hand held) shower and Molton & Brown shower gels. Been wanting to stay here for sometime and so glad that I now have and would do so again.

Not sure if I would book the room again. It was a very nice room and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast at de sigaar is really good and you feel welcome. Not sure if I think the room is a match with the price. Again there is nothing wrong but I have slept in similair rooms in Groningen for a cheaper price.

The room is nice and located in a very nice neighborhood. It's easy to get around town on foot and with a little help from google you should be able to find anything you need nearby.

Breakfest started at 8 am and it was not ready. A bit late for us. Small thing: the knives were sharp but useless to get butter, marmelade and such things out of their boxes. Only a small thing...

We had a beautifull studio on the thrid floor, with a comfortable bed, shower, kitschenette and terrasse. The steps were steep but it was worth it.

The staff was really nice, showed us our room and introduced us to the facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was located in the city centre.

The room was dark, I would prefer to have better lighting. Not comfortable chairs. The heating in the room was not working and it could not be fixed while we were there, so we were cold all the time. One night there was a party on the hotel's hall most probably by one of the guests, so we could not sleep.

Great location, in the center, lots of cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. Great reception staff, free welcoming drink in the cafeteria next to the reception. Very helpful cleaning staff. Very comfortable bed. Great coffee in the room. I also appreciated the presence of the mini fridge in the room.

Wow! This hotel was incredible! Surpassed my expectations by far. It's much more beautiful and cozy in real life. The hotel was so beautiful and the staff so helpful. In the very centre of the city. Super easy to get groceries and anything you need within a very shoet distance.

The cleaning crew could have been a little more thorough but that's me being picky.

The staff were terrific with guidebooks, getting the nespresso machine replaced, and in the end, sending along clothing we had accidently left behind to our next destination! The private balcony on the top floor junior suite was an unexpected plus.

We have 3 rooms in 3 different building, close to each other but it would have been nice to stay in the same building. In one building there was no elevator, which can be a problem for some people.

Very nice hotel in a central location. The rooms in the old buildings are very well renovated and decorated. All kept to a high standard.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

The hotel is owned by a family and we really felt like visiting (previously unknown) relatives. We were well looked after, but the attention to one's wellbeing is shown in a charming and unobtrusive way. The house itself is beautifully restored and well equipped. The breakfast was served at the table and was delicious.

You just need to expect that not all rooms have access to an elevator, ours didn't. Our room was at the 2nd floor and we could still hear people walking and talking at the street all night long.... but the staff provided earplugs ahead of time so that was helpful.

The staff were really nice and we were upgraded to a better room than the one we had actually booked. The hotel is in a central location in the heart of Groningen. Everything is close by.
