It's still better to admire the building from the outside than to spend time in a room. Skewed rooms with insufficient daylight are kind of far from perfect. Nevertheless, it's quite an option if you just need a place to sleep a couple of nights in Rotterdam, due to its good location just next to Blaak transport hub and decent breakfast.

Rotterdam in general and this hostel in particular are an architecture paradise. The breakfast was reasonably good.

The mirror was not in front of the sink, a small detail but that complicates stuff like beard trimming. The beds on the shared room were not too comfortable.

Hello, The censor light in the shower does not work properly. While having shower It does not detect your movement as it should. The shower tap works by pushing and light works with censor. Then you see yourself while waving one hand for the light and the other for pushing the shower tap. You can’t enjoy the shower, at least I couldn’t. Beside this, I want to draw your attention to this information: “The eyes need to adapt to the low lighting condition after you switch off the lights, a process called dark adaptation.” As the showers are wet and slippery places it can be very dangerous for your guests. And please keep in mind that Accident happens once! Better to prevent it.

Almost everything was very good! I stayed in Stayokay Amsterdam in January and that is why I chose Stayokay Rotterdam. If I come Netherlands again, I hope I come, definitely I will choose Stayokay and recommend to all friends.

The position of the socket is not the best and the wifi connection is not available in the room , only in the lobby.

No curtains so privacy is not very good, and the shower sometimes is a bit hot or a bit cold when someone’s using the tap in the room.

The Cube House design is really cool! And It’s location is very convenient. Super easy to find. Everywhere is clean and tidy, hotel-feeling lobby.

This hotel aced the location. It is very near the Rotterdam Blaak train station & Markthal. It made our trips easy to manage & food cravings soooo satisfied. Will definitely recommend this to friends & family. We also like the breakfast.

The location is a great bonus, it is really in front of the Blaak Station, so you can get/go to Airport easily. The Breakfast and staff are avarege, noting special. I was in a female Dorm of 4, it was ok.

Wi-Fi was below par, for me it was unusable from my room and was better in common room but still unreliable. Little bit picky but better lighting in hallways would be nice.

The novelty of staying inside an iconic building is cool and it’s right next to the huge market. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There's no possibility of cooking or even heating up take away food. The main area and the rooms were so cold, radiators are so not enough for an -8 degrees outside. The breakfast leaves a lot to desire.....

The whole area is very noisy, inside and outside. The rooms aren't well insulated from sound and so you can hear everything. It makes relaxing and sleeping difficult.

I loved the location and the quirkiness of the buildings. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simply but plentiful.

I really was missing a kitchen - hostel for me means being able to cook my own food and at at least drink my own stuff in the common area, but you had to buy everything. Also the room had sadly very bad air circulation - in the morning water dripped down from the ceiling from everyones breathing at night :/ and lastly there are no lockers in the room - you need to rent one downstairs.
