I arrived early in the day in Amsterdam and kept my luggage at the hotel since they would not provide a room before 3:30 pm. I came back at 3:30 pm to find that they still could not provide a room since they were short on staff for the day. I had to wait till 5 pm to finally get my bed. On the second day I was woken up by the sound of drilling (the hotel is undergoing construction work).

The hotel was located right at the heart of Amsterdam Center. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and spacious. There were six beds in the room that I stayed in so it can get a bit crowded. Breakfast was provided in a bag and delivered to the room in the morning since the hotel was undergoing renovation work.

They tried to keep our €50 deposit, for an untidy room. They never offered to clean the room in 3 days so we weren't happy about that. We got our money.

Cheap and cheerful. Perfect for a few lads for a few days. Breakfast delivered to room by staff. Location great. Booked fir 4 singke veds, got 2 bunk beds in a room. They did try to keep our 50Euro deposit but we weren't having it for an untidy room that got no room cleaning in our entire stay. They gave us our deposit when we said the room is fine, except needs a normal cleaning is all. Would stay here again.

The room is a bit small for 6 guests. They are currently renovating the place, hence there's no proper place to take the breakfast. It is usually delivered in the room, the room has only 1 small table and 2 chairs.

Each bed has a curtain for privacy, a new towel is provided daily, and a locker cabinet for valuable items. The location is very convenient too, it is near the central station and is a prime location. Breakfast is included. The staff are accommodating.

The hostel was under renovation and the reception area was very small and cramped. I was woken early by banging/hammering on the wall. The access stairs were very narrow and steep, quite unsafe while carrying heavy luggage. There was no outside undercover area catering for smokers, no fun in the rain.

Breakfast was great, staff wonderful, room/bed/facilities clean and comfortable. Good location. Free luggage storage due to renovation.

We weren’t told before hand that the hotel is going through renovations so that meant they would start work early than wanted in the morning so we did leave the hotel early because the banging was too loud. We also did like that the breakfast was a bag delivered to your room unfortunately with the work being done they didn’t have an option but a cold fried egg isn’t ideal for breakfast but in saying that the cheese, roll was nice. I suffer from back problems and for me the bed was far too soft so from having a long day of working the bed didn’t help me much. I understand that’s a personal preference though.

The property was in a fantastic location, we walked to every major attraction, Dam Square, Anne Franks house, Van Goth Museum. It was perfect. The rooms were great, very clean and loved the decorations. Having plugs on both side of the bed and the mirror in the bathroom having different lighting shades and the showers having different settings. It was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam

The heater of the room was not working, so we need to tell the person responsible. We went out for lunch and when we come back it was fixed, so no big problem there. The room was not that large, and the tables inside were small to eat breakfast there. You know this is not as comfortable as a hotel with individuals sleeping in separate rooms, you are not alone and you have to be in your bed otherwise there is not enough space in the room. We stayed for one night so it was ok. It would be hard if we wanted to take a shower considering there were 6 people, so I am not sure this is a comfortable option for people who stay long. We, all 6, were family but we cannot change clothes near each other, so one needs to visit the restroom very frequently for such things.

We were 6 people and there were 6 comfortable beds. The room was clean and as expected. There were towels and lighthening and curtains for each bed. The price was wonderful for the location. The breakfast was high quality and delicious. You can have two sandwiches each with cheese salami, tomatoes, and limitless tea and coffee with milk. All free.

I understand they are undergoing renovations. And it was difficult to find where to check into the hotel.

The location is very convenient 3 minutes from the central square. The room was clean, I really liked the sleeping place, you feel individual from everyone. Convenient and good drawers for things. For the price of the hostel I really liked everything.

Perhaps a little trash bin could have been helpful in the shower room, but I understand, that it is a wet place, and maybe challenging to keep clean.

On my first night I was in a room with 5 more people, they were nice but I was the only girl in the room… I think to make feel more comfortable and secure it could’ve been better if it was like 3 male and 3 female. Also they are doing works in the building so you would wake up with a lot of noise at 8:30am.

It’s located in a really good area! 10 min walking from the Amsterdam Central station and less than 5 min to the main commercial street with all the shops and restaurants you could ever imagine! Very clean hostal, comfortable beds, locker for your personal belongings or luggage and the toilets/shower were very spacious and it was like “private”, so you go in the toilet/shower and you’re by yourself in there so you can get dress comfortably. Towels included and there’s a hair dryer in the shower available. Last but not least, the breakfast was good, I got 2 buns so I used to eat one for breakfast and the other one take it with me during my long walks in the city.

What I did not like is there is no floor mat or a rug in the shower. They should at least put on it coz it's not really nice going out in a shower with wet feet|.

The staff was clearly inexperienced and rude, which shows that the management really doesn't care about the tourist's experience. For the price the breakfast was super basic, and in general the whole structure was put there just to cram as many tourists as possible.

The location is excellent and the bunk beds are clean and well organized. Each has its own curtain, the room is well renovated.
