Room was a bit small, and bed wasn't great, but this didn't affect our overall experience.

Very clean room, if not the biggest, and bed flopped down at both ends. Great shower, bedroom with real character, and the location was perfect, right in the middle of town. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and sumptuous.

The room was cold - they could have switched the heater on before we got there. But maybe there’s a safety issue with doing that.

It was a good place to stop over for the night upon landing in Oslo and flying out of Torp AP the next day.

No complaints, just an observation that there was no rye bread or syrup (for the pancakes). Parking was a bit of a challenge too. That's it.

Bedroom was very small, bed fitted top to bottom between two walls. Had to sleep diagonally because of my height. Paying to park in the hotel carpark

Room was on the cold side, small heater didn’t seem to heat room. Room was noisy, lots of people going past in the early hours in corridors. Lots of noise from outside, poor windows, no soundproofing or insulation.

Some of the interior design looked a bit cheap/tacky… Not sure the purple soft furnishings work or the lampshades with glass beads work in the bedrooms… If you’re a period hotel, choose period fabrics!!

All was fine. Bathroom could be a bit nicer.

It is a hotel, which has it's own style and this style is consistent. It makes it a nice hotel, if you like the style, but one can see, that the hotel is being upkept, but slightly aged ;-) Hotel has it's own parking lot, which saves you EUR 30 or a hassle with parking lots and tickets.

There was no remote control in the room, and when we asked at reception, they provided us 2 remote controls that were not working for the TV in our room.

Shower could be better. Heater was so strong and could not switch off a plug. Room should has little bit more space.

I want to thank receptionist who let me to check-in very early, she was also very kind. Location was great with a nice view from a window. My room was pleasant with a comfortable bed. I liked also the positive atmosphere in the hotel.

There was one thing that was problem there was one of the staff working late shift in reception in Hotel, the person didn’t talk English nothing at all, it was very hard to talk and communicate with that person to get a ticket for the car on the parking space outside but we found another person working for the hotel that helped us out.

The location of the Hotel was really amazing, it was in the center of Sandefjord and couple minutes from the mall.

The lack of a welcoming smile on reception when we arrived - he must have been having a bad day! No lift.

We chose this hotel as it is only a short walk (10 mins) to/from Sandefjord railway station. We had an early flight and wanted to be based closer to Torp Airport. Sandefjord is only 1 stop on the train, there is a very regular service to the airport and onwards to Oslo. The airport shuttlebus waits at Torp Sandefjord station to transfer travellers to the terminal. Train tickets can be bought on the VY app and this includes the shuttlebus fare, (tickets can also be bought on the train, but there is and extra charge for this). Breakfast at the hotel was served early enough for us to comfortably catch the train. The breakfast selection was excellent and the breakfast room felt elegant. This is an older hotel with plenty of character and old world charm, (not bland and grey like many others).

I know Norway is a very expensive country but I felt the cost was too much. The outside of the hotel wasn't cleaned everyday which was disappointing, it doesn't give a favourable impression to first time visitors.

The hotel is right in the centre. The room was on the smaller side but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning, bathroom and toiletries of a high quality.
