Overall it was clean, though under the bed e.g. was a lot of dust. There was a fire alarm going off once at 1 a.m. and one in the morning which was a bit disturbing and scary. We didn’t cook or anything at that time. Just lying in bed. Also it‘s fine to ask your guests to leave the room clean. But charging money for not taking off the bed sheets is a bit weird. I understand charging a fee if you leave the room not tidy and you don’t wash up the cutlery’s or throw away your trash. But not taking off the sheets?

The location is quite nice, close to the metro and not too far to the city center. Overall it was clean. Everything you need is in the apartment.

- No physical reception, which is a bit disappointing - You have to pay a deposit before getting the key. I got my deposit back just the day after the check-out, so everything will be ok if you don't mess with the room :) Be careful and read all the rules of the hostel if you want your deposit back (basically it's just about removing the sheets from the bed and putting your garbages in the trash can otherwise they will take around 1000 Nok from your deposit).

Very close to a subway station, there are food/bar options nearby as well. Room was well heated and clean. It’s relatively cheaper than other options, and it’s a decent clean place.

The room was cozy, but we encountered a significant problem with the fire alarm at 10:30 PM when someone accidentally burnt food. The smell became unbearable, forcing us to relocate to another room. Unfortunately, our sleep was further disrupted by another fire alarm at 2:30 AM, although this time there was no cooking or burnt smell from neighboring rooms. Thankfully, the staff provided helpful assistance over the phone, facilitating our relocation. However, our night's rest was ultimately disturbed.

Upon arrival we were requested to pay a deposit and reassured we would get it back within the next 2 business days. It's been a week and not only haven't we received the money, but also they won't respond to our attempts to contact them.

We wanted te extended our stay with one night and even though there was availability we couldn't do it through our initial booking. We had to make a separate booking for the extra night, but at least upon check in the staff understood the situation and kept us in the same room.

We booked for 3 people, and got a whole apartment, separately located, well heated. Fairly clean. The deposit fee is unusual high compared to the booking fee per night, but luckily we received it immediately after check out unlike our friend who booked an individual room and one week from check out was still waiting for the deposit to be refunded.

There is nobody at the reception. Our baggage had to be delivered from the airport and they weren't able to do the favor of coming and waiting for it so we had to stay there. Also, the way they charge the deposit doesn't look very safe. Plus, they notify you about that on the previous day.

We didn’t like that the beds squeaked when we moved during the night. We also had trouble figuring out the washing machine which could have been due to our language being English and the dials were labeled in Norwegian.

We liked the location and the fact that there were four beds, as we were four friends travelling together and we liked being in the same room. Having a washing machine and a kettle was nice.

- I didn’t like that the information about the deposit wasn’t a bit more clear when I booked the accommodation initially and I only found out the morning of the departure, but we got it back the same day we left - it was not as clean as I’d have preferred (the soles of my socks turned dark every time i didn’t wear slippers), but also not that bad 😅

- Close to the center - cheap - the staff was friendly - we had heaters that worked and hot water (i noticed some people said they didn’t)

Our room was right at the top and you had to go up some stairs outside which was quite difficult as the light didn't work and it was quite icy. The radiator also made a funny smell if left on for too long.

The room was clean and quite spacious. It was also only a short 5 minute walk to the nearest metro which made accessing the city really easy.

When you go to check in it is mandatory to pay a deposit of 2000NOK for damage that was not mentioned in the booking description and reservation. If you don't pay the deposit you can not check in your room that you paid previously. We paid and got the deposit back the same day that we checked out.

The check in is contactless and has a big parking.The room was clean also the sheets and towels were freshly clean.There was a heater that you can adjust the temperature to your liking.

Good location, close to a metro stop and only 15 to 20 minutes walk from the centre of Oslo. Great to have kettle, fridge, cooking facilities. Very quiet. Excellent value for money.

No lights near bed. Bed was under eaves which meant hitting head when getting in and around the bed was a problem. The room had a lot of wasted space by the design which could have been used better say for a small table and desk area. No sockets near bed for charging phones and spare batteries. No extra towels (only two provided over 4 days) but this was actually ok for me solo traveling. The snow and ice and freezing and thawing meant the paths and car park were very icy and slippery and grit didn’t seem to get rid but hear they choose not to use salt any longer for ecological reasons.

Cosy and simple. Easy access to metro and buses. Fridge for drinks and storage. Great shower. Extra heating if wanted.
