The furniture is out dated and very uncomfortable. The beds springs were very noticeable. We had very uncomfortable nights. The towels were stained and not coming out in the wash. The dining room chairs were dirty and starting to come apart at the top. The bathroom fan wasn’t working properly to help with the steam. The front door couldn’t be locked from the outside when you are out. But the entrance from the stairs did lock. Overall I wouldn’t stay or recommend the place. Needs updating badly.

Rusty tables and chairs, including towels. Dusty floors. Hair left over the bathroom sink.

Location is good,has available parking space within the property, staff is accommodating. Secured lock on front door but makes loud noises. Bathroom is comfy though, except for the broken lock with the comnecting door to the other bedroom.

The stairs to get up to the accomadation. Wasn’t able to watch TV. Wouldn’t work Other tenets were very noisy with music but they were allowed to extend their stay even though they had a number of complaints regarding the noise. Won’t be going back

The apartment has visible wear and tear (it has a lot of guests going through) which didn't bother me as I wanted cheap accommodation by the beach. This might be important to other people though!

Very budget friendly and a great location across from the beach, and only a few minutes to the New Brighton pier and restaurants/cafes. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the staff member was very friendly and efficient.

The complex is shabby, stairwells dirty and furnishings in the apartment worn and very basic. We had a balcony and asked for outdoor chairs but were told they got broken and were not replaced. The apartment was not serviced during a four night stay and clean towels promised but never delivered.

We picked the location to be close to friends we were visiting. Stayed here before in a different apartment which was wasn’t flash but adequate. We paid extra for sea view this time and the apartment complex is close to the beach and walking distance to a small town centre with shops and a supermarket.

I did not have breakfast, but it’s ok I love how close it is to the beach, I can hear the ocean I love that it’s private. Also Katrina a lovely lady on sight was so helpful in every way.

It reminded me of a recently divorced Dad’s apartment from the 90’s. Hard to get in touch with reception. Funny smell.

The area of New Brighton is sadly run down. The apartments themselves are a bit tired and the motel looks run down. Floor boards were loose and one was sticking up. The door locking mechanisms were odd as you had to scan the key to exit. The door to our room was a ranch slider which didn't lock because you reached after the main locking door. We were on the top floor so this didn't matter too much but still a worry if you're security conscious. There were restaurants about 1.5k away, though they weren't places that looked appealing to eat, again sadly run down. Go into the CBD for food. I booked a penthouse apartment though the room we got wasn't what was pictured when I booked.

The room had a private balcony and you could see the ocean and it was a very short walk to the sand and surf! It was a lovely quiet spot and close to the pier and the apartment was reasonably clean. The off-site manager was very helpful.

The electronic door system on apt 5. Perhaps the old furniture needs to be replaced, eg glass dining table has rusty metal supports.

The double bed was very uncomfortable and noisy The apartments are lacking maintenance in a number of areas and consistency of standards between the 3 different apartments that I have stayed at is lacking in areas Laundry facilities minimal with guests having to share 2 washing machines and one drier with the fact laundering Despite requesting and being booked into a specific apartment that we had stayed at previously and were very happy with this was not the case on arrival with the booking having been changed to a lesser quality apartment Internet very poor

The reception was locked when we tried to check in and the phone number we were asked to call went straight the message bank. I had to go looking for someone so we could check in. On the 1st morning we had to evacuate at 7am and the manager did not answer the phone so we had to call the fire department. They cleared us to go back into our rooms but were unable to turn off the alarm as it was in the office which was locked so we had to continue listening to it. They said they are called out frequently. The next day the fire alarm in our own apartment kept going off and the fire evacuation door would not stay open. The manager had to keep resetting it for us and fix the door. I do feel the manager was doing the best she could as it seemed she was responsible for doing everything on her own from cleaning, washing and managing the reception desk which is a task way to big for one person.

The apartment was nice, spacious and clean. Great balcony to sit on and location fantastic.

To bring up and down heavy luggages was a big work as theres no lifts or anything. Had to climb up the stairs for that. Toilet was kinda dirty with webs and all. You'll have to drive up to go to places
