This is my preferred place to stay when I'm in Auckland. It's in a great neighbourhood, close to shops and food and handy to where I need to be. Great hosts and very comfortable room full of extra comforts. Never had a bad stay.

Really comfortable and clean accommodation. Hosts were really welcoming and friendly, on hand to help out however they could. Breakfast was delicious and perfect to set me up for the day exploring! I would recommend to anyone considering a stay here!

most of all being able to knock on the door and be warmly greeted , then make a physical booking' shown around' and then upon the day of staying allowed in 40mins before 2.00pm so greatful after hectic traffic and trip from hamilton

Immaculately clean, beatifully appointed, a magnificent breakfast and a warm and friendly welcome. Being reasonably close to the citylink train station (KIngsway) allowed for easy access into Auckland. There were many restaurants and cafes nearby catering for all sorts of tastes and at night it was quiet and restful.

Lovely Inn close to transport links to go into the centre of Auckland. Very friendly hosts who offered lots of useful information on the local area. Wonderful shower and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing. It was set out on a large table with everything anyone could possibly want to start the day including a cooked option.

A little more explanation of the snack/drink bar which was in the hallway would have been nice. I wasn't sure if the snacks were free or needed to be paid for. There was a price list for the beverages which were in the fridge in the hallway.

The room was small but comfy with lots of character. The garden was gorgeous and there was a spacious sitting room for all the guests to share. My bathroom was not connected to the room but it was full of character and there was lots of lovely products for me to use -- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath bomb, lotions and a robe! The hosts were very nice and friendly and the decoration was perfect for the style of house.

It is an interesting historical building which has been maintained to an exceptional standard. The location is quiet with mostly free on street parking. The quality of everything that was provided was exceptional.

Location quiet near metro station shops bars and restaurants. Great hosts nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Breakfast is like a banquet.

Charming and beautifully decorated B&B full of thoughtful touches and creature comforts, tucked away in a leafy quiet street. Breakfast was superb! Marlene and Tony are wonderful hosts and we felt warmly welcomed. A home away from home.

It is not one of those places that fortunately didn’t follow general obsession with minimalism and impersonal look. It was like being at home. The owners are really nice not to mention the cat:) And if you are still hesitating let me tell you that breakfast is really delicious.

A very comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Very well situated in a good area. The owners gave me a very warm welcome and made me feel very much at home. They shared information with me about the local area and good restaurants/pubs where I could eat. Excellent breakfast in the morning. A lovely garden where I sat and had tea on the afternoon of my arrival. The owners were discreet but always on hand if you needed any help. I can't recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough.

Liked everything

This place has so much character and so many home comforts to make you stay comfortable. Marlene and Tony were great hosts Marlene would cook a great breakfast after eating a fruit cocktail and Tony would ask what were your plans and would give useful tips. There was tea and coffee facility for when you returned in the evening and a living room area to unwind or sit out in the lovely garden

Location, comfort and attention to detail. Fabulous place to stay on our last day in Auckland. Our room was so comfortable with a great walk in shower and amenities. The breakfast was superb and we had access to a lounge and coffee/tea etc when needed. The location was fantastic with great transport links and local restaurants etc. We had been travelling for 5 weeks and this was such a nice treat before our flight home. Thank you!

Lovely bedroom with bay window, comfortable bed, bathroom had a large shower - and a chandelier! Outside porch, perfect for an evening glass of wine. Hosts Marlene and Roy were so welcoming, and recommended a great restaurant. Plenty of parking on road outside. Should have taken a photo of the breakfast table, fruit, breads, cakes, all laid out beautifully. All in all, the perfect breakfast and bed!
