A little out of the town centre, but nothing to worry about apart from the hill! No point in taking the car for local trips, traffic and parking are the same the world over.

We would of appreciated it if the laundry was working. It was out of order for the 2 days we stayed.

The location to town is great. You can park your car and walk in for your meals and activity's. The studio unit on the 2nd floor had a balcony that although it didn't have a mountain or lake view it was still pleasant view and area to sit. The studio room was super clean, modern and the staff were very friendly.

Washer drier very inefficient. You need half a day to wash and dry one small load. Fitness equippment in gym defective. Despite three reminders to correct it nothing was done.

If there's one thing that is the downside, it may be the distance from the center of much of Queenstown activity. It's about a 10-15 minute walk with one hill on it. I'm a walker, so it didn't faze me, but could be a consideration for others.

The views from the apartment are unbeatable. With Lake Wakatipu in front of you and The Remarkables in the distance, it made for a dramatic and brilliant experience. The apartment is laid out nicely - comfortable with living room with fireplace overlooking the scene with a wonderful patio in front. The sleeping area and bathroom are large and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining area work well. And if you're inclined to cook, the place has all the equipment you'll need to make it work.

We loved the property.

Perfect location. Beautiful view. Quiet. Apartment was perfect for us as a couple. We walked to town everyday. It’s on a hill so be prepared to walk back up. Not an issue for us. Andrea checked us in and was just delightful and very helpful with suggestions for dining.

It’s not a hotel, but apartments, so they don’t clean your room and you’re expected to keep it clean and throw the trash (or they’ll do it for you for a fee). Also too many rules, feels like AirBnB. And the room in the underground feels a bit like a dungeon (at least you have a big window and a lot of natural light, so it’s fine).

Feels new/renovated, has everything you need. Walking distance to center (it’s up on a hill, so prepare to do a little hike if you’re by foot, nothing to worry about - there is also paved road, and the views on the way are worth it). Check in and out was easy - they’re flexible even if you’re checking in out of the office hours.

Basin in bathroom had nowhere to put stuff, only a shelf underneath. Shower spilled water all thru the bathroom. Steep walk into town but thats what you get if you want a view

We stayed at Highview Apartments for 6 nights. The apartment was great and had everything we needed. It was very clean, and we had a great view of the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to central Queenstown with a bit of a hill to walk up. If you don't want to walk up the hill, you can ask the staff how to take the shortcut through the Rydges/QT Hotel. Wifi was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Steep uphill walk from town centre. Reception hours. Luckily we arrived before it closed at 5pm as one of the apartment keys didn’t work.
