Restaurant food was not great, breakfast was good. Not much love in presentation or taste. Staff were really good though. Lots of meal options in the main shopping area & a small supermarket.

It would have been good to have a toilet upstairs as the bathroom and bedrooms were on the lower level . It was a bit difficult to manage large suitcases to your room as gravel path with red tussock plants restricting access .

Check up time in NZ and this resort is at 10 AM. I think it is not fair for customers because we can stay only 20 hours not a day.

Kitchen waste dispenser/grinder was not functional, one pan to use which was badly maintained, dirty toaster, unusable spatula and tong (melted tips with plastic fibers falling off as use).

room could have been slightly cleaner, marks on walls. could hear neighboring occupants. Absence of a clock/radio in room + writing pad pens and possible info in room to as what activities we could have done in Tekapo and what eateries are avalible

Parking very bad, not enough space hotel guests. Standard room a small box, had to upgrade at additional cost. Carpet stained, kitchen tap very loose, furniture tatty. I expected a room in better condition for the money paid. I accidentally left an item in the room on departure, only discovered this later that day. Emailed the hotel, two emails and two days later received a reply, item not found. It should not be this hard to receive a response.

It was a shame that they decided to place multiple sofa at the common area. It could be better utilised by including some entertainments such as pool table

Furniture is quite tired and scuffed. There was only one fork and no knives if you wanted to eat take away in the room. 1 large glass, no butter plates. These are basic things that would make life easier.

Spacious accommodation, close to town. Friendly reception staff who were very helpful with advice re restaurants and activities.

The entrance to the apartment is shared with another apartment next door. The housekeeping staff who were cleaning the next apartment placed their bags and equipment right outside our door. We have just checked in and wanted to move our bags into our apartment but couldn’t because the path was blocked. When we were checking out, the bags were again placed outside our unit, waiting to clean the room after we leave. The door of the apartment oddly opens to a wall right in front and you have to open the door 180 degrees to move into the apartment. Didn’t expect the 2 bedroom apartment with Mountain View to have 2 levels. The lounge area is upstairs and rooms are downstairs. Not exactly suited for my elderly parents so they stayed downstairs in their room mostly.

Super spacious and very clean apartment with great view. Close to amenities like 4 Squares supermarket and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!!
