Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the pool and spa - seemed like it needed a revamp and a good clean and snow closer monitoring, group of woman who seemed quite out of it and teenagers who were not in the property using it

On check in, the lady telling us about all the rules and regulations seemed a bit unwelcoming, but she was friendly when we checked out.

The outdoor furniture was tired and there were no cushions for the chairs. The cushions that were there were dog beds from Warehouse and did not work well on the chairs.
Location is great - close to all things in Mt. Manganui.

the spa was like a lukewarm bath, decor of the apartment is a bit tired now.

The sofas and lounge chairs were not that comfortable as they needed some cushions. The bed was too soft especially on the edge and were only queen size. The duvet was too heavy.
Spacious modern apartment with great location and nice view of the sea. There was a lovely cafe on the ground floor and the hot pools were just across the road. The parking was easy to access and secure. They had paperbacks and puzzles available. The laundry facilities were very useful. The bathroom was nice and clean with a good shower.

Our bed in the master bedroom was too soft for our preference, but we did like the bed linen.
Great shower pressure. Balconies were a good size. Nice and roomy with good layout. The pool and spa were great. Good to be able to get pool towels, too.

The kitchen is very compact with no bench space (fully equipped though). Outlook to a wall of plastic covering the adjoining building which is being renovated (not much management can do about that - just a 'heads up'). Also the shower is in the bath (having a bath is a bonus but it could be a bit tricky to get in and out of for the lesser mobile). Parking spaces are tight.
The location is fantastic - close to the mt, beach, hotpools and cafes. Stayed in a studio unit on the western side of the building - essentially a compact 1 bedroom as there is a sliding door. Fully equipped and very clean. Decent sized lounge and big sunny (afternoon) deck that also serves the adjoining unit (separated by a part panel and some plants). Shared laundry too but no issues with either. Good pool (still a bit chilly) and spa. Staff very helpful.

The spa could have been a bit warmer but my family still loved hanging in there.
The proximity to the beach was amazing! so convenient. discounts to hot pools nearby and free parking. the management seems to make an effort about keeping noise levels down which was really appreciated as we have 2 young kiddies that sleep early.
