A bit noisy - guests in corridor and above our room. Room was close to lifts.

    Clean, friendly staff, good restaurant.

Only complaint really was the bathroom area was very small for a high end room. But overall the room was nice and meet my expectations.

Hotel feels slightly old. Buffet breakfast has a good variety but fruit was not fresh (melon over ripe and tasted fermented).

Comfortable room. We loved the dining and sitting area in the suite. Great views.

    Location

The room was comfortable & staff very friendly/ helpful. It was a bit too far to the main part of town so location was a little out of the way where you need transport to get in.

Room was small for two people. Restaurant is very expensive. Gym could be bigger.

Great stay. Excellent value for money. Service was quick and friendly. Loved the chocolate hour and loved that it’s free. Comfortable beds. Everything that I needed in the room. Amazing buffet breakfast with everything I could want to eat and more. Would definitely come again.

My partner left a new shirt in the wardrobe and when he contacted the team they said it wasn’t there. It was a gift and has sentimental value. Also it was a hike from the city. And we could hear chairs scraping above us from the bar or restaurant.

    Nice staff and decor

Food was OK, not great at the restaurant. The Meat in the Beef Cheeks was mainly fat. There was very little meat to actually eat. Very disappointing. Finally the lighting in the room is a HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS. at night when you get up to use the bathroom the switch on the outside wall of the bathroom has to be turned on in order to have the lights in the bathroom go on. When you flip that switch the light over the door goes on and wakes everyone up in the room. WTF??????????????????????

    great beds,

We loved the friendly greeting from staff who were accommodating and very helpful. We were able to book in early whivh was massive gor us as we were really tired. Our room was clean and comfortable...and really nice. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and the hotel had everything we wanted and needed. The afternoon chockie hour was a hit for my son and I and we enjoyed chatting with other guests. We used the gym, sauna and pool facilities to work off the chocolate and loved the robes and bathroom by the pool to use afterwards. There was an abundance of towels which was really great. In the morning we loved the buffet breakfast which was included in the price. We have already recommended the hotel to our family and friends and are looking forward to booking again in the future. Thankhou for exceeding our expectations. Rochelle and Eli Montgomery

    None to note 😊

Everything, from the moment we were welcomed for our stay, staff were friendly, professional and polite, chocolate hour was a fun bonus, and a funny moment was realising we had used first table for the restaurant of the actual hotel bonus points for not having to walk up and down that hill to Cuba st again, reminding me I need to get fitter 😂

The room was pricey for the night because a festival was on. The interconnecting doors made it easy to hear others. Our room was near the pool and smelled a bit like chlorine.

Great location, the chocolate hour...wow! Lovely to receive a complimentary drink on arrival. Good pool and sauna, gym and comfortable rooms, beds. Friendly staff.

Everything about Mövenpick Hotel was fabulous. The breakfast selection was great and the chocolate hour was the absolute highlight of my days in Wellington. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful with any queries I had. Additionally, the lift going to street level was a very handy thing to have access to.

Chocolate hour was great for the kids but didn't match the luxury vibe of the hotel (marshmallows and chocolate cake from the wholesaler, grainy chocolates, etc). Similarly the sundaes which were not as good as the Duck Island (NZ brand) sundaes served for half the price a couple of blocks away. Our corner room was extremely noisy next to the 'VIP' lift.

Great facilities, gym was tidy and well equipped and the pool was fantastic. Spacious family-sized room for the three of us, clean, super comfortable beds and lovely bathroom.

Breakfast could have been a bit better- some fresh fruit would have helped it. Wait staff very pleasant and obliging though

The location of the hotel was good- an easy walk to Cuba Street with a hotel lift to help out with the hill. We were welcomed by reception and parking valet who were very efficient. Chocolate feast in the afternoon looked great - we arrived late but enjoyed the chocolate fountain nonetheless. Our room was very comfortable.
