Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaCleanliness could be improved. Ants in the kitchen also spoiled the day a little bit. The front door is not possible to open - one has to ring a bell which is annoying.
The location is really cool. The setup of the room as well. Not to mention the fantastic views from the bedroom and breakfast. Overall - a very nice hotel for a stay in Cusco.

GermanyWater supply did not work properly through the time (short-term low pressure, no warm water). Couldn't enter the accomodation without ringing the bell and waiting for the staff to open us the door. Maybe you have another solution for that so the guests are more flexible and do not have to wait for the hosts to open the door.
Really lovely accommodation and more than a hotel room. After many tours and different places to sleep we were happy to be at Kutty Wasi. We had a kitchen and tiny living room, which was nice to cook some small own dishes again and having enough space for organzing our stufd after many exhausting days. The staff was super friendly and helped us wherever they could.

AustraliaBathrooms were a little cold, but this was very minor!
Beautiful view over Cusco, on a nice and quiet street a short stroll up from the main square. Staff were very helpful and stored my luggage while trekking. Lovely breakfast space with a view.

United KingdomWifi didn’t work (I think it may be location related). It wasn’t a big deal for me though
Great location in a cute pedestrian area with cobblestone streets, 10 mins walk from the main square. Spectacular view over the city! Very nice and clean room. Friendly staff.

United States of AmericaRemember to ring the call bell labeled “timbré” if no one is at reception - I missed this. They will let you in promptly
Best view in San Blas! Wonderful terrace. The place was thoughtfully designed, with a breathtaking view of the city from my bedroom and a convenient kitchen below. The San Blas market is conveniently nearby to pick up groceries so I cooked quite a bit. The entrance is up a few stairs and on a quiet street. Compared to the busy, touristy streets in town I highly enjoyed the location.

CanadaThere is no hot water, but that is quite common in Peru. Breakfast was not that good and was not set up when we arrived.
The property was beautiful; be prepared for a steep walk up stairs as the hotel is on a pedestrian-only street. Beautiful view of the city from the hotel. Comfortable bed and good wifi. Very close to San Blas Square with lots of good restaurants.

AustraliaThe property was impeccably clean and the staff were great to deal with and very helpful. We stayed here twice, once in 2brm apartment and once in a twin room. The location is close enough to the centre of Cusco but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The views from the terrace are amazing and a lovely space to sit with a wine and cheese watching the sun set.

United States of AmericaI would have liked more breakfast options. It is a bit of a hike up the hill and you can’t drive all the way up. So be ready to walk to get there. It’s worth it!
The friendly staff, the beautiful view, the extra blankets for the chilly nights, the kitchenette, comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom.

IsraelThe shower has hot water (after waiting quite a long time), but the shower room itself is very cold as it has a roof window that is always open. Also, it's a lot of stairs to get to the place, but the view is totally worth it (bonus, no car noises :) )
Very very spacious, great heater in the bedroom, comfi beds, very nice and helpful staff, a lot of places to chill outside with great view over the city (including perfect seats for some fireworks that were shot from somewhere every evening!). Also, they were always very helping - late breakfast (which was great as well), late checkout... everything we asked, they were always ready to help and with a smile :)

FranceStairs. Was not an issue for us at all. But just be aware that the hotel is in San Blas on a street that is very close to the San Blas Square (Good point to start excursiones, for example), and it is only accessible by stairs. And there are small staircases in the hotel itself: to go to the room, to the reception, to the breakfast room, inside the suite.
Very nice staff, especially the girl working at the reception in the afternoon/night. Excellent location: you can get to main attractions by foot if you like walking and don't mind stairs, the street is quiet. Good everyday cleaning. We almost didn't cook but the suite seemed to have everything you needed for a few days, even wash dish liquid and a sponge. Good breakfast with a marvelous view over the city (a photo attached). Very good lunchbox that the receptionist prepared us at 5:30 AM !

New Zealandthe wifi connection is very weak in most places. our room living room was also a bit dark and uncomfortable, we preferred to spend time in the shared areas outside.
we were stranded in Cusco due to the political protests, and the hostel was very kind to let us stay indefinitely until things became safer. there is very nice outdoor space overlooking the city and the hotel is very peaceful and secluded. the breakfast provided each day is very good! and our room had a kitchen, so we were thankful to make some meals in the 5 nights we stayed there.

United States of AmericaLocation to city center and activities.
Property let us check in early and allowed us to have breakfast too. For this reason we would recommend this place. It was comfortable and safe. Just a little inconvenient as we needed to walk up and down city streets in order to get to where we wanted to go...not their fault!
