Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNothing really.
The cabins are spacious and well equipped. The owners and staff are very welcoming, helpful and it made our stay even better. Loved that people were ready to help for any needs we had. The staff helped us booked activities, restaurants. The place was quiet, and everything was ready for us to use - snorkeling, kayaking, ..

United States of AmericaThe air conditioning was a tad weak in the front room (air conditioner in the bedroom for the whole bungalow) but we did have a heat wave of 95 degree temparture and it really was OK. The only thing I strongly disliked was the lack of a toilet seat. You had to sit right on the rim and especially with two men in the family, my daughter and I were just grossed out. It stood out because everything else was so, so perfect. I would still 100% go back and recommend. But maybe they could update that one thing?
The staff is amazing and I think all of the bungalows have views. Rumia in particular speaks english and was so responsive. They have really great free equipment too. Magical location, views, and terrific snorkeling right out your front door. This is a key point, other places maybe on the water but might not have great snorkeling. I would 100% return. Loved having a kitchen to make simple breakfasts and 10 minutes away Coco Et Banannas was an amazing bakery with croissants and pastries that sold out fast. Local pizza 5 minutes away (ask the staff) was great too. Very comfortable beds. Amazing front deck with really great seating arrangments. Two separate beds for the kids. Beautiful dock to get you right to the coral. Perfect temparture water. Great proximity to hikes and restaurants (withing a 5 to 30 minute drive). If you don't want a big, corporate place, this has a warm, welcoming feeling. There was a french family with 6 cute kids running around and it added to the atmosphere. I loved that it was mostly French tourists here (we are American). the kitchen was great and very well equipped.

When we arrived we missed a night to no fault of Linareva, they were incredibly accommodating even offering us a free extra night. They upgraded our room and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The property is gorgeous and they have everything you need to explore their piece of ocean right in front of their dock. Amazing snorkeling and such kind owners. I will suggest to everyone who comes here to stay at linareva.

FranceWe loved everything
Lovely setting in a beautiful part of Moorea, quiet and peaceful in front of a lagoon with plenty of snorkelling opportunities, swimming, sunset etc… The couple who run the hotel were exceptionally hospitable and kind; well over and above what we expected. Highly recommended in every way.

GermanyThe bicycles are not well maintained and not really appropriate if you want to explore the island. But for a ride to the next supermarket they are okay.
The hosts being so caring and helpful in any way. Forgot to book a restaurant - they lend us their car. Very flexible. A fantastic location and access to the sea. Kajaks and snorkeling equipment for free.

CanadaBeautiful location, wonderful staff and snorkeling at your doorstep. Upon arrival Ranitea & Rumia were very warm and most welcoming. They arranged dinner bookings, restaurant pick up/drop off and were available to help with sight seeing options as well. Breakfasts were very good as well with local fresh fruit.

United States of AmericaWhile the resort provided it for free use, the snorkeling equipment and kayaks could use upgrades/replacing. Also, it would be nice to have stand up paddle boards for guest use as well.
Staff was absolutely WONDERFUL. So helpful, kind and knowledgeable about local sights and features on Moorea. They went out of their way to answer questions and make us comfortable. The property is a unique and lovely experience. The family unit, where we stayed was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Also, the dock in front of the property is great for snorkeling or kayaking. Saw sharks from the dock, and while snorkeling saw rays and lots of colorful reef fish in the water nearby. Stay here if you are looking for a more quiet, out of the way place to experience the "real" Moorea!

United States of AmericaAll good
Excellent location on the water. Nice swimming off the pier. Clean and comfortable rooms. Extra nice employees and owners always checking with us to make sure everything is good. Nice location and being a small island you are never more than 30 minutes from anywhere. Easy ferry from Tahiti Island and car rentals at the ferry terminal in Moorea. Make your first stop Champion Supermarket for an excellent selection of groceries.

The question is rather what's not to like... Beautiful resort with the most kind and helpful owners and staff! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The bungalows are super pretty, all with a convenient kitchenette. You can use the bikes and canoes at no extra cost. The location is very quiet and peaceful.
