Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesWe did not availed the roundtrip airport transfer maybe because of miscommunication thru email. Anyways, we reached the hotel with hassle free transfers from Southwest Tours.
It is our first time in Boracay so we booked 4d/3n stay at Ambassador in Paradise. Our room had a nice pool view and beach view with a bonus spacious bathroom. Cleanliness was maintained throughout the resort facility. The resort staff were very hospitable and attentive to guests needs. We also noticed that ONLY in this hotel that the staff DAILY makes up the room even without placing the sign request on the door knob. The pool was even CLEANED daily every morning and guests were provided (unli) towels for pool or beach use. They also have toys and arm floaters and even "salbabida" for the kids to freely borrow. Their Resto serves different variety of food with affordable price. We get to see FIRE dance performance for 3 consecutive nights from our balcony. The hotel also offers affordable water activities.

LithuaniaAlmost nothing - but prepare it is an old hotel, so the rooms (expecially bathrooms) are outdated, but for me the most important thing was the location of this hotel, so i did not care about room itself at all. Prices as you can imagine on food and beverages are on the pricier side (for example, fresh coconut costs aprx 7 euros, which is a lot in PH).
Location!!! It is almost on the corner of station 1, so more quit location and less people. Staff - everyone was super nice. Security. We had the room with the balcony directly looking to the sea - amazing! Yoga on the beach in the morning! Breakfast - i liked that you have to choose from menu, because thats how they are not wasting so much food comparing to buffet, BUT for me it was a little bit crazy, that they have a rule that you can order just one meal (for example, they have omelette and basket of pastry like separate meals, and in general you cannot order them both). Of course if you will ask nicely, i am sure, they will make an exception (point for that:)).

United States of AmericaI like that there is a private beach. The food and restaurant are top notch. You also get a cool fire show everyday with dinner. But what I liked the MOST is that this hotel had GOOD WIFI for working from the location or taking zoom video calls. When I went to Boracay I needed a hotel with good wifi and you will be very surprised how many hotels have TERRIBLE WIFI reviews. This would not fly for me because I had very important zoom work video calls I could absolutely NOT miss. This hotel went ABOVE AND BEYOND and I let them know I had this concern and they made sure to pre-test my room for wifi speed before I arrived. I have never had a hotel go above and beyond but I could not miss this meeting even if on vacation (you know how bosses are). This alone made me give this place a 10/10. It doesn't hurt that everything else is clean and nice.

United States of AmericaI booked a suite for me and my fiancee, and a remaining family room for my parents. The interior of my parents’ first level family room was vastly updated compared to our top level suite, which had an older toilet and seemed like it was also missing a bathtub. But this comparison did not make our stay less pleasant.
It’s a very appropriate hotel for its surroundings. It is updated in most aspects but it doesn’t have a modern look that contrasts with the beach and community. I did not feel like I was in a lower class hotel at all.

The hotel is located in the best zone, Station 1, of the White Beach in Boracay. it is the best because it's not that crowded during the day and in the evening it doesn't get crazy crowded as the area around the mall. The restaurant of the hotel offers a great variety of meals, Western, Asian, locals. We stayed 6 days at the hotel and enjoyed all the meals at the hotel's restaurant. It was delicious and convenient. For breakfast you get to choose from American, British, Dutch or a combination of those. We are a family of four. The room was spacious and responded to all our needs. The staff is very nice and they get to surprise you every day with cookies, hats, chocolates. Little details that count. Next time I visit Boracay definitely this is the place to stay.

BelgiumNot too much of choices for breakfast menu but you can still discuss to the waiters to switch rice for bread (as an example)
The transport service provided by Ambassador In Paradise is hassle free and very quick Easy access to gym / swimming pool Entertainement/show happens every night in order to makes the end of day very chill and relaxing The location of the hotel is perfect for sunset view but also for a calmer aerea The menu offers an extensive choice for dinner but also for drinks Room and bathroom are spacious and well equipped WiFi is not strong but enough for social media content Private Security guards on the beach side gives a feeling of security and comfort whenever we let our personal things on the beachseat to go dive into the water or swimming pool The workers are super nice and ready to help you out for any of your request

The breakfast was good, would have been nicer to not have to pay for fruit. First time they forgot to give us bread, we didn’t know and realised the next morning when they gave us the bread. But nothing major mistakes happens. Like the sweet gestures, amenities, beach, staff, the gym. Wished we had a longer stay!!

United Kingdom- It would be good to include fruit options for breakfast as selection is limited - People reserve the already limited amount of beach chairs from 5am onwards. We rarely got the chance to sit on a deckchair - Waiters mixed up & forgot drinks/food orders on numerous occasions
- Incredible setting, on a beautiful part of the beach with great sunsets - Kind staff & welcoming staff - Amazing rooms - Nice pool - Great hospitality for a birthday celebration

United KingdomI saw this hotel when I was originally booking and didn't choose it because of the style and colours of the buildings. All very bright blue and yellow which made the property look cheap and tacky. I still don't like it! It could be a lot more sophisticated in its style.. but in all other respects this is a great hotel. The swimming pool looks great, but the water has SO much chlorine in it that it makes your eyes water when you swim.
We only stayed here for one night.. as a little treat to ourselves. We were staying at a nearby property which we didn't like very much! We chose the Ambassador because a) it has beautiful squishy sun loungers and b) because on an otherwise completely non-smoking island, we were able to smoke on the balcony of our room! The room was rather bland, but huge. The view from the balcony over the pool and see was lovely. The bathroom is one huge wet room/shower which was also great.

United KingdomThe only downside is that the property beach front is a bit small with limited sun beds. Also the tour vendors waiting at the front watching you while you sun bathe is a little uncomfortable.
The hospitality of the staff is incredible. The most friendly and hard workiing group to make your stay the most pleasurable in paradise. I cannot comment enough on how great their hospitality is. The hotel itself is well maintained and ours seemed modern and refurbished in the last couple of years. It's a cute simple hotel that has all that you need with a gym, pool, beachfront and sunbeds. The location is also excellent, on the quiet side of the main beach with a 20 min walk on the beach to the centre D-mall. Perfect hotel for those who want to enjoy philippines in a hotel with it's own charm and character, unlike some generic cookie cutter western hotels.
