Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyWe did not realise how massive this resort was. The pinned spot on bookings.com is not where your accommodation will be! It’s actually more inland and you have to catch a shuttle bus to the beach and other restaurants. The TV is pointless, absolutely no reception on it. Bring ear plugs! This resort is old and the sound proofing is terrible, you could hear your neighbours and people talking/walking down the corridor.
Super friendly staff. Regular shuttle bus made it easy to get around resort. Private beach was amazing! Rooms were average. Aircon was great! Free wifi reached basically across entire resort Big buffet breakfast but was unusual selection

PhilippinesToo far from the main public beach, some of the facilities and buildings needs repairs, out toilet bowl is partially broken (seat cover). The breakfast buffet has so little options to choose from, the coffee is bland.

Chile- The food at the restaurants isn’t good at all. I recommend going out to town for dinner. - Beds are not that comfortable
The resort is huge, with private beach and many pools. We really enjoyed our stay here! Also, the shuttles were very efficient, we rarely had to wait more than a minute. Those reviews that said that people had to wait for over 20 minutes for shuttle, I don’t know where they came from.

PhilippinesIf only there are shuttles available every time you call for one. I'd have to wait 10-15 mins for one to be available. If the resort can add more for the convenience of the guests.
The place itself is so exclusive for the guests there. The food was great!

AustraliaThe customer service here is outstanding. However, if I had to be picky, I'd mention two things: transportation and hot water. Past 10 AM, it can be a bit challenging to get transport to the main road due to high demand. Additionally, my room didn't have hot water, which might be because the Philippines is typically hot and humid, so hot showers might not be a priority.
Fairways and Bluewater is the ultimate resort getaway! It's a one-stop destination with all the amenities you desire, so you never have to leave. Surrounded by lush greenery, the entire property is impeccably maintained, offering you the perfect escape. It's an incredible value that truly delivers!

PhilippinesEvery staff was really friendly and courteous apart from one in concierge name Joralyn. My husband was asking two questions, first was if there's a hot water in our shower and how she communicate and responded to us was a bit rude and unfriendly, then when my husband asked if we could get the code for the WiFi, she did make face in front of us, it's very inappropriate to do that and as a concierge, no matter what you are going through on your personal lives, this shouldn't reflect when you are working and when you are infront of your guests.
The room was very clean, lots of amenities and great location if you just want to relax and have a quiet time. It's a 20 mins. walk from Astoria, it offers shuttle services since the resort itself is massive.

PhilippinesIt is a nice hotel to stay. Just don't like the smell of the room the every time we will enter, it is like an old room/cabinet that didn't use for a long time. They should put air freshener. but over all the room, the services is good. And also, additional cab so it will not be hard to wait for the cab since the main gate is far from the lobby.

AustraliaMany facilities, however without a "compendium" (as they are called in the Philippines) it was difficult to work out what was available where. also the pools could be deeper.
Private beach was excellent, transport options into station 2 were welcome, massage was good (although multiple enquiries had to be made to work out location - see compendium comment below)

Turkey- Breakfast is poor compared to the price and other hotels. - There is NO hot water in the rooms from 4pm onwards. You can get hot water if you shower after 11pm. So you will shower with cold water unless you wait until very late. - They start mowing the lawn at 6am in the morning for golfers. We asked the reception if they could start later. They started at 7am the next day. So forget about sleeping if your room is facing/close to one of the golf yards. - Private beach is nice but kinda deserted!
- Very welcoming and kind staff - Clean rooms - Quick shuttle service
