It’s a bit of a travel into d’mall, but you don’t really need to go there when the resort is so spacious and has everything you need, and the hotel has free shuttle buses into d’mall if you like to go there. The internet was good, but could have been a little bit better in the beach area.

Amazing resort hotel with a beautiful private beach - with serving of food and beverages on the beach and a beautiful infinity pool. Always available beach chairs/lounges and towels. Attentive staff. Nice to walk in the resort area with palm trees and gorgeous views. The chi spa is worth a visit just for seeing the area. Several restaurants with good food, but a bit more expensive than on the restaurants in D’mall - but absolutely worth visiting for the food, drinks, the ambience and views. The breakfast buffet had every sort of food that you can think of, including sushi, ramen soup, dumplings, frozen yoghurts - as for me I loved that they had a lot of different egg types, salads, ham, salami, cheeses, bread, juices and coffe. The room was lovely and always clean with a coffeemaker with fresh coffe every day and fresh mangos. Safe, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and good bathrobes. Loved the balcony for drinking my morning coffe!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained with tastefully decorated rooms, beautiful landscape and the friendliest of staff. The food at the various restaurants (Sirena, Rima, Cielo and Vintana) was impressive. The breakfast was a little overwhelming and lacked the taste that the other restaurants made up for. I would recommend less quantity and more quality. The adventure zone & entertainment center was a big hit with my daughter and her friends. I personally spent many hours reading poolside and enjoying the famous Boracay sunsets. I also highly recommend the Chi Spa. I received a 90 minute massage and a 60 minute facial and both services were superb (thank you again Kaiysha!) looking forward to experiencing other Shangri-la properties in the future.

Sometimes staff seemed noticeably unhappy during the breakfasts and kind of tried rushing taking my plate away even though it wasn’t late. Made me wonder what was wrong. But most staff were incredibly hospitable.

I did not get the same room as I booked, which was disappointing. Originally room came with outside tub. Also didn’t appreciate getting late night visit to room to say that incidentals had exceeded original deposit and that I had to take care of it at 8:00pm at night. Cheezy approach.

Beautiful customer service friendly and helpful staff. It’s started from picking you up and transferring their guests with private speed boat and upon arrival you are greeted with by a drum and music crew . The resort is secluded from the crowds . A very good place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature and views of the beach bec it’s only exclusive for the resort guests. A place for a relaxing , peaceful , quiet and luxurious getaway. We love their breakfast buffet lots of selections and never run out of of foods in their buffet areas. We will go back again to this beautiful resort.

Rima restaurant was one of the best experiences yet it was a bit pricey

Exceptional We’ve Stayed at couple of hotels worldwide and our stay at shangri la Borocay is by far, the best, beyond exceptional! Our stay at the hotel started the moment we arrived to the airport, ever-since every moment was really exceptional, warm welcome, special rides, spectacular nature and views, breakfast buffet was outstanding Staff were extremely helpful.
