Didn't like that the Netflix and streaming didn't work during our entire stay. Didn't like that housekeeping didn't service the room regularly even though it was promised.

Liked the room, the new restaurant, and the location. Breakfast was decent as well.

The bedding was not comfortable. The pillows felt cheap and uncomfortable. The comforter felt plasticky. The floating wooden floor felt cheap. The elevators were old and slow. The breakfast buffet was average.

Location was perfect. Close to everything in old San Juan. The gym was relatively well equipped for a hotel.

Generally, the hotel lobby, restaurants, and rooms are way too cold. While we shut our room A/c off for most of the visit, the lobby and restaurants were uncomfortably cold.

In general, the staff was very nice. However, I paid more for my room than our friends paid for their rooms on this same trip. I paid more to get a view, particularly a harbor/boat view. Instead, I was given a room facing an air shaft with little light. The room was larger than standard, but I didn't pay a higher price to be in Puerto Rico with no view.

Hotel was under construction, but it wasn't as bad as we thought. There was noise, but staying for 2 nights before our cruise was ok. Bar at night was slow and pour of wine was very small.

The elevators are unable to accommodate all the check out customers at 11am - very, very crowded. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and there is NO updated signage telling folks that the check desk is not on the ground floor but on the second floor with the restaurant. Presumably this will be updated when they finish the renovation. They have taken away the complimentary rum punch which takes away from the island ambiance somewhat. The redone suites are missing some items. There was only 1 light in the living area and only 1 cushion on the couch. There was only 1 picture on the wall. We did have, however, 2 ice buckets - go figure! The hotel is overpriced. Breakfast is NOT included.

The location is right across from one of the main cruise terminals. It is fun to watch all the activity when those big ships come into port. The rooftop pool and hot tub are great though they need to replenish the pool towels more often. There is a CVS a couple blocks after and a Walgreens in the same building and they sell alcohol and basic food, snack and drinks along with pharmacy items. They upgraded us from junior suite to full suite overlooking the port. Many restaurants and bars are located within a short walk.

The included breakfast was a none starter. The restaurant didn't have enough tables and the wait was over one half hour. Unacceptable considering the room was over $500 a night. We left the hotel to locate someplace to get breakfast. A bad start to our day.

Construction was underway so lots of confusion at checkin and lines were long to check in. Staff did it’s very best under the circumstances.

Enjoyed the old style of hotel STAFF WAS FABULOUS AND ATTENTIVE under all the chaos. I would like to come back when it is finished !

It was under a remodel project at the time of my stay and it was loud with lots of banging. They also tested the fire alarms the morning of my checkout.

Didn’t know there was a construction during our stay. Woke up by the construction sound at 8:00am. Didn’t refill shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Overall it didn’t bother us too much.

Location is great! Bed is comfortable. Room size is good. I like the roof top Swimming pool.

The hotel was great, rooms were recently renovated, all very nice! People were friendly and helpful. What I didn’t like was being woken up around 7:30 am by drilling and hammering. They are renovating the whole hotel which is wonderful but it’s loud in the morning.
