Wonderful location and we were given such an amazing room. Lovely rooftop and the hotel staff were truly wonderful. I had gotten very sick and they did everything they could to accommodate me. It was the best customer service I've ever experienced. I left to go home to the states early and they took care of refunding me a night with booking.com. Although being sick, one of the best hotels around. Stay there!

The hotel is very centrally located off the Blue Metro Line and very near one of the main train stations The rooms were good size by European standards They had an excellent breakfast buffet on their rooftop restaurant

It was old hotel, but very clean and comfortable. Staffs were very kind and helpful. We reserved two rooms for our family and they were connected! Inside the bathroom there was a small plastic chair so it was really good for my old parents to sit down. Beautiful hotel with good price, so I will definitely visit again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and hotel is centrally located. We loved the voucher for a free drink at the roof top bar, with wonderful views over Lisbon. In the room were complimentary pastel de nata and bottle of port - a lovely touch.

They have the best staff. We were celebrating my birthday and everyone was aware of it!! They all stopped me that day and say Happy Birthday to me! When I came back to my room I had a cake, sparkling wine and a beautiful card wishing me Happy Birthday! They upgraded my room. Food was amazing. The rooftop view was the most beautiful view! This is the place I want to stay when I come back! Loved Altis Avenida Hotel!!!

Excellent hotel in a great location for exploring Lisbon with high quality service and facilities. All of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The roof terrace bar particularly attracted us to this hotel and it was a lovely spot to relax on with a drink and enjoy the wonderful views.

We had a lot of luggage for our 6-week stay and the room was a bit small. We had a difficult time finding space to place and open our suitcases.

The location was fantastic, in the center of town, accessible on foot to many attractions and restaurants. Our room had a balcony overlooking Avenida da Liberdade. The view from the rooftop restaurant and bar was amazing and the quality of food was excellent! We must mention the concierge named Julia. She was incredible and made sure our anniversary was special. Port wine, champagne, sweets and notes were left in our room on a daily basis. Also, Marco Martins, the bellman was so kind, patient and informative. The entire staff was helpful, kind and professional! Truly a five-star experience!

Hotel was great but would have loved if it had a roof top pool or plunge pool to go with the views.

Location was very central - right at the end of the main boulevard. It was great for the wedding we were attending and close to lots of nice places for brunch. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were quick and helpful. Roof top terrace views were unreal. All up and down Lisbon city.

The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom/shower is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is pretty central. Breakfast is rich, including gluten free options (bread, muffins and occasionally pastel de nata!) - thank you, we will definitely be back!

Great room with a view up the road. Neighbourhood felt safe, and there were lots of restaurants and cafes. Excellent location for walking Lisbon. Breakfast in the roof top restaurant was fresh and lots of choices. Highly recommend this hotel

Location was absolutely perfect, which is the very centre of Lisbon, making it easily accessible to visit all the major tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. Hotel is stunning. Extremely good value for money. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast on the rooftop was impeccable. Would certainly visit again!
