We couldnt get the over to work but didnt really need it in the end to warm food, as there is a microwave.

Nuno was very prompt and it was easy to meet him and enter the flat. He showed us around and how everything works. It was chilly at night but there were ample woollen blankets and the beds were very comfortable. The large ktchen was like a home from home with lots of equipment and we cooked for ourselves mainly. There is a little bar on the corner for a nightcap and they are very friendly and a small grocery store on the corner. You can walk into the centre in under 10 minutes and also to the ferry boat to go to the island. Nuno and his wife Dina were very welcoming with bottle of wine and some delicious homemade carrot cake.

Loved everything about staying there.

Nuno, the owner, was the most friendly and thoughtful host possible. We met him when we arrived to pick up the key. He had left us a decent bottle of wine, bread, snacks, chocolates. The flat was fashionably decorated and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Free parking nearby and a short walk to the river. We stayed a couple of nights and wished it had been much longer. Nuno is a real gentleman - obrigado.

Perfect place to stay, when visiting Tavir region. Spacious, absolutely full equipped apartment in the very center of town. If you plan to visit Tavira, this apartment should be the #1 choice :)

You do hear a little street noise, but the neighborhood is relatively quiet .

It suited us perfectly.

It had absolutely everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, beach gear available, fire was stocked with basics and there was a welcome gift. Nuno ensured we could work everything, and gave us a few ideas for things to do. The beds were extremely comfortable and the air con worked a treat. Handy for station and groceries.

Because it's a ground floor apartment there was a bit of noise from surrounding,flats,and front doors slamming although it wasn't a major issue and would not stop us from staying again.

This is a huge, full conform apartment running by a supportive local man. We got some very useful tips and tricks. When we arrived he waited us with local wine, cheese, bread, tunacream.

It was a very nice, large 2 bedroom apartment. The furnishings were older but very nice and well cared for. It was extremely well supplied with plates, cleaning supplies, towels and soap/shampoo. The location was perfect with a short walk to the grocery store and downtown area. There are numerous shops and restaurants near by. Parking could be tricky but there always seemed to be a free one available near by. The air conditioners were a life saver!

Quiet suburban area about 8 mins walk to main part of town/tourist areas.We really enjoyed location. Apartment is an older style, but very clean comfortable and homely. Nuno provided many unexpected treats. We enjoyed very much. very quiet, and I had great sleeps there.

This is one of the best equipped properties we have ever stayed in. It has everything you need for an enjoyable visit. Also, the owner, Nuno, provided a bottle of wine, cheese, cookies, fruit and chocolates in our welcome basket. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and highly recommend it!! Location is excellent, right on the edge of Old Town. Lots of great bars and restaurants i the area.

It was a super appartment , beautifully appointed .The decor was so lovely and comfortable.their was everything you needed for a great stay.Nuno is a fab host the welcome was much appreciated with the welcome tray bread cheese and wine. After arriving mid evening.The fridge had milk and orange juice then later i in the week tasty pata de nata.would thoroughly recommend here the location great too Tavira is fabulous.

We liked the fact that our host Nuno met us off the train and took us to the apartment. The apartment itself was without doubt the best equipped that we were ever in, (and we've been in quite a few). Nuno provided a selection of welcome foods/drinks, and before our departure he left us a thoughtful, little leaving present. He kept in contact with us throughout our stay to ensure that all was well. The apartment itself was a great ground-floor flat with everything that a visitor could need, spotlessly clean, with a bright well-equipped kitchen, lovely lounge and 2 bedrooms. Oh, and there's a cafe/bar/restaurant right next door. All-in all a super apartment with a perfect host, to which we would return. Thank you, Nuno.

It was perfect

The host greeted us upon arrival and shared some information about the city. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything a real home has. You could easily stay here for a month because of the amenities and comfort. It was super clean. The goodies (bread, wine, cheese, cookies and fruits) were a great welcome gift. We prepared some breakfast in the kitchen but you could easily cook a proper meal. The apartment is right outside of the old center with plenty of free parking. There is a Lidl supermarket within walking distance and a corner store and coffee shop in the street. We did not use the car at all during our stay. We stayed with our 10 y/o and appreciated the home feel of the apartment. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tavira.
