This was a good choice of hotel for our overnight stay in Lisbon for family sightseeing, the central location was perfect for visiting the old quarter districts and down to the waterfront. The Gloria funicular is literally 2 minutes away too. The room was clean and comfortable and we were not disturbed by traffic noise, the staff are very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage ina secure room after checking out and then collect them later before returning to the airport.

Rooms were a little tired, old style tiling and wooden furniture.... Room had no view (but not an issue for us as we only slept there). Breakfast room was small, so if youi went at a busy time you'd have to wait for a free table.... staff were brilliant at clearing and setting up, but it still felt small

Great location near a metro and railway station in a main square.... Great roof terrace and pool, nice to sit in the evening and watch the city move around you!

There was building / renovation work going on in the building next door to my room (across the small alley way) so it was noisy when I had the window open on Monday. I was largely there on the weekend so didnt ask to switch rooms but the Monday morning was a bit annoying because of it. Would have been good if the staff had considered this and put guests in rooms further from the construction work.

The size of the room. The breakfasts were fantastic. The staff were helpful and nice if a little depressed at times.

The bedroom was large with a fine balcony but the decor was very tired and in need of updating. A modern bathroom with a walk in shower would be more acceptable.

Breakfast was plentiful with good choices of fruit, breads and pastries. The hot food selection was a bit limited however. The cleanliness of our room and all of the public areas was excellent

Kitchenette was great - but a dish cloth or tea-towel would have been useful - to make it easier to clean up after ourselves.

We were very impressed with the room size. The kitchenette was an unexpected bonus. We had breakfast on one day of our stay - and it was good. The location was great - an easy walk from all we needed and many tourist attractions. The terrace offers excellent views of the city.

Excellent location. Close to the centre and easy to get further afield with the metro station outside and the bus from the airport stops at the hotel. Sightseeing tour buses can also be boarded outside. Rooms are dated and basic but we knew that before booking. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Having a fridge was a bonus so we could store food and drinks. Bottle opener was missing, Reception sent one straight up. Shower/bathroom facilities were all working as they should and hot water at all times.The reception staff were very helpful with the queries we had and very polite and friendly. Although the hotel is on a square with a busy road, we didn't hear any noise at night and our room was facing this direction. Rooftop bar good for a cocktail and to take photos.

Very musty smell in the apartment and unpleasant smell in bathroom. No extractor fan in bathroom.

Location - superbly situated. Staff without exception were cheerfully helpful. Having a small kitchen.
