The stairs to get to the first floor were a challenge for me as I have mobility issues, but no problem for my husband.

We enjoyed so many things- the staff were exceptional, always making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed: the apartment was sparkling clean: the bed was very comfortable and the linens were great: the location was excellent - surrounded by interesting cafes and restaurants, very close to the ferry to Lisbon, trollies and buses, and they have cab drivers on speed dial too. We were there for 4 nights in April and enjoyed it very much. We highly recommend Cacilhas Guest Apartments and want to express gratitude especially to Rita and Thelma.

The location to the ferry across to Lisbon and Tram around Almada is super close making it very convenient for getting around to see everything. The restaurants nearby are lovely and we actually preferred eating local rather than in Lisbon where it was too touristy and service wasn't as good. The apart was clean and well maintained with a beautiful terrace to just sit and relax. We plan to visit here again in the future and have already recommended this place to others.

Communication was excellent. The ladies were friendly helpful and shared local knowledge and ideas which were great. Very easy access locally and into Lisbon. Unit was wonderfully located on a friendly and local community street and bedroom was very quiet. Everything in the unit was well appointed, it was very clean and well laid out. Would happily return. No smart tv, or fire stick to watch Netflix. The apartment only got cleaned once in the 7 days and by the last day the house was pretty dusty. could’ve done with some extra towels and toilet papers but because the reception closes at 3 it was hard to ask for it. - nothing that spoiled our stay that much tho.

The apartments are excellently located with easy access to the ferry, buses, trains and multiple very good restaurants. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Apartment was large and comfortable. Really could not fault this stay.

First of all - we loved the location! There's no point in overpaying for a stay in Lisbon while you can leave within a 10 min boat journey in Cacilhas! Instead of a place in the hostel at the outskirts you can get a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, own bathroom, living room and a bedroom! Lovely reception team,very helpful 😃 I liked the vibe of this town too.

I think the apartment needs black out curtains at least in the bedroom. There were shades in the windows but with a fixed position that allowed a lot of light to come in. I was waking up everyday at 6:30-7 on my 4 nights stay because of this. Only one small toilet paper roll for two people on a 4 nights stay- We found ourselves without toilet paper on the second night and it was very uncomfortable as reception hours are until 5pm and the supermarket was already closed. They did leave us a 24h emergency contact but we felt awkward to use this for such a thing as toilet paper. Problem was solved next day by going to the supermarket nearby that opens at 8:30 but it was an unfortunate situation nonetheless.

They upgraded us to a fantastic apartment with a terrace. :) Thank you. The apartment was beautiful and quiet and the bed and pillows very confortable . The reception staff was amazing, so friendly and available. The location was perfect .

Great place in a more authentic area. Super easy to go back to Cais de Sodre by ferry. Very comfortable appartment, well equipped, quiet at night. The area has lots of good restaurants, shops etc. Can walk to Almada center, take a bus to Costa da Caparica beach, walk along river, Cristo Rei.

The building and room door open with a link they give you at checkin. Don't live the room without your phone;) I took the room for 4 nights and there was no cleaning, I had to go and ask for dry clean towels and toilet paper.

Great welcome and support from the staff. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, and frequent ferries to Lisbon on the doorstep. The apartment was really clean and had an outside terrace which was great for having a coffee in the morning.

It was on the last floor, so there were many steep stairs to climb. We were offered for free only 2 coffee and 2 tea bags, although we stayed 5 days. We paid for the rest items we needed, but it could have been a nice touch to have 5 coffee bags/tea for free...

It was a conscious decision to go on the other side of Lisabon so we were tied to the ferry schedule. Otherwise, the place was extremely nice, well located (4min walking to the ferry). We got the apartment on the last floor. It had a super nice balcony with the view over to the river. And the kitchen was well equipped, enough space. All in all it was a good choice. Plus, right under our balcony there was a myriad of places to eat, with really good food and very convenient prices!!!
