There wasn’t a thing that we didn’t like.

This was an exceptionally beautiful place to stay with a large, manicured lawn and a lovely patio area. Our room was tucked away all by itself allowing total privacy. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast the next morning in the dining room steps away from our room. The staff were delightful. I would love to back to spend a few days.

After a long day on the Camino..arriving at Casa da Capela was so welcoming. So comfortable. Margharita, made us an amazing dinner at a reasonable cost. Breakfast next day was included and was great

I think the only hard thing is it is past town a bit and makes the walk a bit longer maybe by an hour or so and hard to get something to eat if you want to eat out. But the staff will make dinner for you for an extra fee and it was very yummy and perfect. But if you're someone who wanted to eat out it would be hard here.

This was our favorite stop on the Camino! Right off of the Camino road and it felt like staying in a castle! There was a warm fire which helped us dry everything and warm ourselves. It was so clean and well maintained. It felt very romantic and somewhere I would like to come back to one day. The lady that made a huge and delicious breakfast for us was so kind and compassionate. She has been a highlight of our trip.

The room was fantastic, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Spotless pool and jacuzzi. Fabulous meal in the evening and the owners are just the nicest people. Wilson and ‘Mrs.Wilson’ we’re so incredibly friendly and nice. We really can’t say enough nice things about our stay

I loved everything and learned the place is quite historic. I asked Margarita how long her family had owed Casa de Capela and she replied “Forever”!

Margarita greeted me after my long camino walk. First question I asked was whether she could do my laundry. Yes! She promptly checked me into my very nice room then later washed my laundry. I relaxed outside with a cold beverage. Later I ate a delicious dinner with several other pilgrims. That was followed by a bountiful breakfast the next morning. Room is quiet and excellently appointed. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in five caminos!

The shower was a little small but this did not overshadow the wonderful experience this place is.

Delightful staff (thank you Margarita), beautiful facilities, pool and grounds, pictures do not do it Justice, on the Camino. It’s a perfect respite after a day on the camino - I would love to come back and stay longer.
