Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing. I did let them know that microwave and toaster were not working. They wouldn’t know that unless it was highlighted. They were thankful for the feedback. Lovely stay. Will return.

Shower in main bedroom leaked Some lights didn’t work in master A couple things falling apart in kitchen.

Pool heating is a little expensive at €75 a day
Room facilities were excellent Reasoner facilities great. Location perfect Reception staff considerate and very welcoming Cleaning service superb.

Very small complaint - utensils in kitchen not good .. no corkscrew and the knives were blunt ( no scissors either) also no chopping boards. Maybe a dishcloth and fairy liquid ( or some kind of cleaning product to wipe down kitchen surfaces) Very small issues but would make life a little easier - we didn’t hire a car so no supermarket In walking distance.
The property was as described. Lovely modern apartment in a quiet location. Loved the carpet in the bedroom and the comfy lounge area ( like home from home)

The barking dogs in the underneath and next door apartments spoilt the peace on the odd occasion. I would not have mentioned it but sometimes the barking went on for far too long. The swimming pool was lovely but in need of a good clean (dirty grouting).
Great apartment and lovely complex. Not much to criticise, everything was fabulous. The delicious fresh bread rolls dropped off every morning (bar Sunday) was a nice touch. Daily apartment clean, bed making, towel change was exemplary (again bar Sunday). We loved the Encosta complex swimming pool and most days had it virtually all to ourselves.

The only downside was being unable to connect to the wifi in the villa. We even tried all 4 passwords but we still couldn't connect. We ended up 'tethering' from our mobile phones to get access to the internet. We stayed at the same villa last year and experienced the exact same issue. I did speak to the folks in reception ~ and their advice was to keep trying different passwords...but this still didn't work. Maybe, the resort should address this with the owner of the villa. (Villa 74).
1. The location was great....walking distance to the Shack and Danos at the Campus. 2. The villa was spacious and well presented. The maid service was excellent as well as the morning rolls.

The only faults: pool bar was expensive compared to other resorts we stayed in €4.00 for a coffee €19.00 for a prawn omelette Toasted ham and cheese was good value at €5.00 The pool was very cold actually much warmer in the sea and the lake at the shack.
We loved the accommodation. The rooms were stunning. The beds were very comfortable and a great night sleep was had. The sitting room was great in the evenings and we used the balcony every night. The kitchen was fully stacked with everything you could need for home cooking. We were at the pool daily, although quite cold we still swam as it was great to cool off. We played tennis daily and the gym was superb for every workout

Bed was hard which made for uncomfortable nights sleep.

A shame there isn’t a supermarket within a reasonable walking distance.
The chap on reception was great, always happy to help, even providing fans when our air conditioning broke in the apartment
