Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Broken bedside light switches. No internet or no information about it…
Great location near airport, love the restaurant and delicious piri piri chicken. Comfortable bed. We stay here every year before our early flight

Pillows were a bit weird but otherwise bed was comfortable.
Very close to the airport, staff was very nice. We didn’t try the restaurant but it was PACKED so it must be good.

Nothing against the hotel but the airport taxis can be really unhelpful because they think the trip is not worth their while
The staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is really close to the airport. We've stayed several times and will be back soon.

Very noisy-children who were visiting the restaurant with their parents, were shouting and screaming outside in the carpark until 11pm. I was getting up at 3.30am to get a taxi to the airport at 4pm. I had to go to reception to ask them to speak to the parents.
Exceptionally clean and lovely, airy, well presented room.

Nothing .! No complaints at all. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and already have done so. We hope to return next year.
This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay before flying to Canada. It is very clean, comfortable, quiet and has very helpful, pleasant staff. We liked having a good restaurant for dining and appreciated the excellent selection for a very early breakfast.

Convenient for Airport and onward journey next day. We were able to get a good,inexpensive meal in the restaurant at 10pm at night after arriving from Faro Airport. Hotel is much nicer than in photos. Large bathroom and room. Very comfortable beds. Good choice at breakfast in pleasant breakfast room. Friendly staff.Free parking. There was a music and dancing event on in restaurant as it was Friday night. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and music stopped by 11.30pm so not a problem. Would stay again. Great price with breakfast included.

We were staying to make our trip to the airport in the morning less painful. The meal in the restaurant was tasty, and the bar had a great variety of drinks. The room was airy and a great size with a lovely bathroom. It was so easy to take our rental car to the airport.

I had earplugs, but there was a neighborhood barking dog during the night. Not terrible.
Close to airport. Clean, large room. Nice staff. good restaurant. Didn’t feel like a hostel. Ubered to Forum Algarve mall for bit of shopping, not too far.

I dont recommend you stay here if you want to explore faro town as its abit out the way (4ish mile walk) but if u need to get to airport its fantastic and only a mile walk
Honestly the pictures dont do this place justice, i booked it cause needed somewhere close to airport for the morning flight , i was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was, good amenities in room , great tv and big bathroom

The entrance is hidden by the tall untrimmed bushes making it unnoticeable and therefore passing by having to do another 3 miles loop to return

Taxi from the hotel to the airport was €25 which quite expensive for roughly a 3 minute drive. Hotel seem to use some chauffeur company who charge a dearer price than a normal taxi.
Good location for proximity to the airport if you are coming on a late flight or leaving on an early morning flight which we were doing in both instances and taxi quite cheap from the airport. Staff friendly and the restaurant next door was nice and convenient,

Breakfast wasn't ready at six in the morning and reception forgot the wakeup call.
The room was great, generously sized, comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was both good and reasonable.

Funky smell through the hotel - a combination of moth balls and moisture
Location, close to the airport, grocery store. We rented a car through sixth and there was a off side location next to the hotel - we were able to drop the car off in the morning and get a shuttle to the airport - this way we avoided some chaos at the airport
