Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaConstruction in front of hotel. Light rail.
Modern. Open windows but a bit noisy. Easy access for walking. There is a back way up to the old town from the hotel. And there were several English channels on TV!

Hong KongNo refrigerator in room. No electrical sockets near beds. There was only two sockets under the desk in front of the window. In one of the morning, the cleaning staff didn't knock the door before opening, immediately opened my room door. Hotel should remind their staffs about this. The first time I experienced in Hotel.
Location was great, very near attractions. My Hotel room was with beautiful river & park view, it was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good, with enough hot water for showers. Mini market Minipreco 10 minutes walking, Continente supermarket 15 minutes, Rede expresso bus station 25 minutes on foot. I did not try the breakfast, so no comments.

IndiaThe room is a bit small, so a no for long term stay. But manageable for a week or so. Pls remember that they will make u to give an additional request in paper with signature to open the window in your room! Probably bcz of security reasons for us but I felt it a bit strange especially as I was in the 5 th floor! Room cooling wasn't working as they said since in winter the thermostat works only when it set for heating!
Everything was excellent as expected - ibis the name !

SloveniaYou must contact the staff for them to open your window, which is inconvinient if the air gets stuffy in the middle of the night. Also the bed is very uncomfortable if youre used to sleeping on a hard mattress. Overall a good stay, but the price is a bit high for what you get.

BrazilIt was a little expensive for the room I got, and my work colleagues as well. 70€ and the room didn't even have a mini fridge. I think it was just a little expensive.

UkraineVegetables and cups for abatanada would be nice to have at breakfast. Some hot food for breakfast (like omlet or something like that) would be good as well. Hotel need some renovations already, but it's not critical at all, as it's comfortable and good for short stay.
It's second time I stay here. Location is very good with park nearby and wonderful view on it from the window. Staff is nice and helpful. Room was clean. Parking in the hotel is available. Breakfast standard, but it is enough and I was able to find all for my taste.

PortugalThe underground car park which we never usually use due to the difficult turning spaces on the exit. I am sure there used to be an alternative exit which was easier to negotiate. We usually use a nearby public carpark.
The staff (particularly the lady on the desk when I arrived) who went out of her way to be incredibly helpful and kind having arrived after a very stressful trip to get to the hotel (which we know well) due to bad roadworks. Friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you.

NetherlandsWe arrived early and were able to use the baggage storage so we could explore the city. The lady at the front desk also provided some information about what to visit so the service was excellent! The room itself was basic but it came with all necessities. The location just next to the waterfront makes it easy to reach from the train station.
