Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe were disappointed with the hotel spa and pool arrangement. We got our speedos on and travelled down to the 3rd floor for a relax in the spa. As the lift doors opened there was a desk with two members of staff ready to guide you into the spa. What we didn't realise was you have to book and there is only space for 10 people so if its full and those 10 guests decide to spend all day relaxing there is no opportunity to use the spa. The pool was found out you had to wear a cap which my kids said they would refuse to wear. My recommendation would be to let guests know the spa arrangements as they book in and add a notice in the rooms as a reminder. We didn't have any welcome notices in our room which was something we missed. This could have prompted us to use the restaurant or book the spa. The Wi-Fi code was written on the key card but we had trouble reading it and had to call reception. The Wi-Fi signal wasnt great so improving this would be helpful especially for people travelling for business. Lastly I was disappointed that we didnt have a nespresso coffee machine only a kettle in the cupboard with sachets of coffee and not enough milk not to mention the tiny cups so small my wife had to fill two for a decent cup of tea!!
We booked this hotel because of the many positive reviews. Pre arrival communication with the hotel was very good. On arrival the welcome was excellent very personal. Our room was clean and spacious not to mention modern with lots of plug sockets! The layout of the hotel is misleading, been on a side street it doesn't look much from the front but inside its spans across 5 floors. The top floor includes a roof top bar and lounge/ restaurant. The rooms lead off a very stylish corridor with every door set back providing a unique personal touch. Comfort - The beds had a lovely comfortable mattress and the windows has a wooden blind which totally blocked out the light which was a nice touch. The room has been well thought out with a partition separating the main room from the bathroom sink/ vanity area, toilet and shower which was hot and powerful. Value for money - We booked two rooms for two nights and was reasonable priced. There was added value thrown in which we haven't experienced in other hotels we have stayed at which was a real plus: 1) Complimentary drinks voucher - note up to the value of 15 euros each - we had a round of cocktails in the roof top bar. 2) Discount for the spa - we didn't use these. 3) Free mini bar which was well stocked with snacks, water, orange and a beer. Empty the bar and they refill it the next day. What a bonus. We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked stylish and personal with individual booth areas to eat like a VIP. If your travelling to Lisbon we would highly recommend this hotel but be warned although the location is idea there is lots of steep hills to climb!

The location is great - very close to Rossio square (meeting point for many activities) - the indoor parking garage well located and easy access The breakfast buffet was impeccable - friendly and helpful staff - very attentive and welcoming with kind touches like some chocolates to wish happy easter or a plate of fresh from the oven pastels de nata at the reception desk for the guest to enjoy. Nice. Library with rare books and mostly about the famous Portuguese author and poet Fernando Pessoa which was of great interest to us.

United StatesRooms could use smart TVs that have access to the internet so that you can stream from your device or login to Netflix etc. from the TV itself. As a traveler in the 21st century this is a near must in my opinion.
Doorman was extremely friendly and helpful when arrived. Restaurant and bar above the hotel is exceptional with a very solid view. The downstairs spa was a dream to use to relax after long days.

United KingdomWe were not keen on spending time in the rooftop bar. The outside area is ok with fabulous views but inside the decor could do with changing. The bar looks like a coffee bar & the walls are lined false wood panels which are soulless & there is no atmosphere. Seating is primarily in weird little wood panelled booths which isolates you from other people. Similarly the restaurant which shares the same space does not entice. Neither did the menu. The pillows on the beds are awful. Too soft. Buy some firm pillows please! The jacuzzi in the spa pool is pathetic. Dial the bubbles up please! And the reception desk in the spa should not be directly in front of the lift. Very off putting when the lift doors open & you are confronted by two staff sat behind the desk and maybe other guests being attended to.
The hotel is on a very quiet one way street in a fabulous location. The rooms are lovely & the beds very comfortable. Beautiful bedding. The bathrooms are small but perfectly formed. Good shower & nice towels. The spa is wonderful. The small pool, sauna & steamroom are very reviving when you come in footsore from sightseeing! The staff are all excellent. Special recognition to Yasoja who looked after us beautifully.

United StatesLisbon has very tiny streets. So being picked up at the entrance was tricky but we were prepared to minimize any delays by being at the entrance. Most drivers were very understanding.
It was clean and had free drinks, snacks and candy. The staff were very spectacular!! Kind and helpful. Great location, close to Rossio Square that had nice restaurants and shopping. Had the greatest dinner at their restaurant on the rooftop. Great views. We would stay here again.
