This is such a beautiful place and setting, the rooms were so lovely and comfortable. There were also beautiful spaces to relax in the evening, both in and outside. A warm, friendly welcome and truly delicious breakfast! Thanks so much, wish we could have stayed longer.

The owners were incredibly warm, welcome and accommodating. We met other travelers, mostly”walkers”, who we enjoyed getting to know in the large, comfortable common area. Breakfast was delicious, beautiful grounds and just a few k’s outside the village. Highly recommend!

Exceptional breakfast and very lovely people who take a lot of time to give recommendations and put a lot of attention on details. The stable apartments are very cozy, including extra blankets and a little electric heater (our stay was in March). The pool area looked like it’d be fun to use during the warmer months. Overall, we loved our stay here and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to any of our friends and family. Thank you!

Breakfast was quite late for us, as we had a long hiking day ahead. Rodrigo was very accommodating though with offer to drop us off at the start of the trail.

I barely leave reviews but Hugo was in one word great! We had to leave early before breakfast and he made sure we didn’t leave without empty bellies. The location was great and very homely and welcoming, you were welcomed so friendly and relaxed I wished we could have stayed longer. I loved the details in the rooms and the honesty bar. We are for sure coming back.

This was a little off the beaten path for a hiker, but I recommend it to folks on the fisherman's trail if you feel up for the extra 2km. This was where I ended my hike and it was truly perfect!

This was my favourite place I've stayed. Everything was perfect - the room, the staff, the pool, and the handmade soaps in the washroom. I feel lucky to have stayed here and hope to again in the future! Sunrise from the ranch was a highlight for me.

The only annoyance is it's not a bit closer to Zambujeira do Mar. I walked to the hotel, and again in the evening walked into the town and back. On a map it looks close enough and I'm a fast walker, but even for me it is at least 15 minutes each way and in places without pavement, walking in the road which in darkness is a bit more challenging. The hotel offers bicycles and locks so there is an easy solution but still it's nice to walk to places where you can!

An amazing find, located outside the beautiful Zambujeira do Mar - it's like staying in a private country residence in a remote part of Alentejo. An authentic historic building and grounds, with rooms that remind me of travelling in Spain using Paradors (luxury converted castles). The room felt like a castle or church, opening into a shared courtyard with a well stocked honesty bar, and further away over the grass lawns a very separate large pool and sunbathing area (pool is regularly cleaned and large enough to be fun). There is a beautiful and eclectic lounge to relax indoors also, listen to music or take breakfast. The property is run by a lovely family with everyone contributing and helping out, and a family experience when leaving. The room was spotlessly cleaned when I arrived and even though it has an antique feel it was not dirty. The best two things - the homemade soap from one of the family member was really nice, and best of all was the bed. Wow. About 1 metre wider than King Size, huge, inviting and so comfortable. I prefer a slightly harder mattress and while it might feel a bit tough to some people at first, after walking 24km on Fishermans Walk, the best thing is support for your muscles not softness, in order to transfer stresses from your body. I had the best nights sleep in a week hiking down the coast and didn't want to get out of bed!

We stayed at Monte do Papa Leguas to attend the Meo SudOeste music festival. It was very close and a perfect location for us. The host who looked after us was so helpful. Breakfast was very nice.

The pool furniture needs to be updated - 1 broken umbrella is not enough and maybe a few more chairs . Also, the grounds need some maintenance- it’s not bad but it could be better.

Pool and grounds was beautiful - very calm and relaxing. The hotel also provided bikes which were great fun to ride to local beaches (stunning). The place was run by a family who were friendly and went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was best we have had in Portugal - all organic with homemade produce.

My only regret is that we arrived late in the evening and only spent one night before hiking a beautiful stretch of the fisherman's trail - so we missed taking advantage of the very, very lovely looking pool!

Beautiful place: quiet and tranquil. Very nice stuff, breakfast above any expectations. It is located outside the city center, but it was not much of the problem: we could use hotels bikes to get to the city center and in the morning one of the hosts brought us to the beginning of our trail in the morning. Overall highly recommended!

Great hospitality from Hugo and team. Breakfast was amazing as many have mentioned. Very quiet location and nice grounds. Nice big bed which we found is rare in Portugal. Close to amazing beaches and hiking. Will definitely be back!

The property was very peaceful, but still close to restaurants and beaches and the Rota Vincentina. The atmosphere was very calm and my husband and I took naps by the pool. The host was warm and gave us wonderful tips for the area. The breakfast was exceptional with eggs made to order, and local bread and homemade jam. The soap in the rooms was also homemade! It was a wonderful stay!
