Only two things were a little annoying. No usb sockets in the bedroom and inedible bacon at breakfast. Other than that I have no complaints

Great food, great bar, amazing pool and everyone so helpful. The location is excellent and the room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony. It was never too noisy and there were many interesting guests.

Spa section was amazing however wished had bigger indoor pool

Lovely staff, kept the facilities and rooms very clean and were very helpful when needed. The pool area was exceptional with a well stocked bar. A good selection of foods at breakfast with a lovely atmosphere, great music from the pianist. Overall lovely hotel.

Zero internet on floor 3 hotel just installed booster but they did not work No room had net services One must leave room and go to reception for coverage which was a pain

Seemed to have trainee staff on reception - but were all very professional.

One thing to note re AP Properties - even if classed as same star rating the experience service etc is not the same. For this hotel was overall a positive experience. Modern clean rooms well appointed , good options for dinner and drinks on the rooftop terrace. Parking directly outside the hotel. Breakfast was great - many options, pianist playing, option to sit inside and outside. Pool area was well located (some Building work going on nearby the property) Bar area at pool serve the best cocktails. Had a spa - hot stone massage was soo relaxing. Good facilities for all guests, sauna jacuzzi. Bedrooms small but comfortable - lovely patio overlooking the pool. Bathroom Had an enclosed PRIVATE bathroom with a door and proper walls not transparent glass or with a curtain separating the bathroom from the room which seems to be challenging to find in Portugal hotels for some reason ? Nice shower.

Lovely hotel. Well situated on hill overlooking Tavira. Spotlessly clean with good sized rooms. Buffet breakfast was 1st class. Lovely roof top bar

Would have liked facial tissue in the room and a Nespresso machine or another way to make fresh coffee. Chair in room not comfortable to sit at desk for using tablet.

Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. We had a room overlooking the pool with a balcony which we liked.

Although weather not great the outdoor pool was open which was good however the toilet/ changing facility was not open . A small negative only.

It was our 3rd stay at Maria Nova Lounge. Very close to town centre. Very good, clean room and room service. Excellent breakfast with wonderful pianist. Front desk staff very helpful. More relaxing as adult only.

Very nice place, people anf facilities. Excelent breakfast, even Mimosas!!! Beautiful art collection in the halls and a very nice piano player with pleasant melodies!!! It was very easy to get in and out.

Must provide your own slipper and robes for use of spa/pool area. Outdoor pool was not heated.

Great location with sweeping views over the old town and river. Full breakfast of hot and cold items, lovely roof top bar offering even better views. Easy walk to old town. quiet location. Some indoor facilities included small indoor spa pool with areas of massaging jets, sauna dry and wet, outdoor pool. Had a massage and it was very nice.

Paying 10 euros cash for a towel to rent for the spa. Have the towels at the spa for free. Very silly 😜
