The noise isolation was really poor. You could hear all apartments morning alarms. Parking was tricky as well

The hospitality was really good.the apartment was really clean and well equipped. The balcony was really good , had good view and you could wake up by nature calling you.

    Parking slots are limited

The apartment view is beautiful and the communication with the host very easy. The location is convenient as it is close to the city center but not busy or crowded. However it is quite uphill.

It is too close to the main entrance, and very loud in the morning because you can hear people talking and checking in and out. No breakfast included but I won't complain much about this. AND YOU NEED TO CLIMBE TO THIS PLACE so once you go downhill you don't wanna climb back(but you can get a cab tho).

The view is amazing, from the room balcony you can see the whole dock and the city, it is very beautiful. The room is quite good for two people to stay. A nice small swimming pool.

The entrance to the parking lot (only 3 or 4 lots!!) is very, very narrow. We did not even dare it with our rental SUV. Instead, we parked outside on the street. We were lucky there was always at least one parking lot free, else you can only drive downhill to look for a parking space there or take a big detour to check uphill again. Also, you definitely want to be in decent shape to walk up the steep hill to the apartments (unless you only travel by car).

Amazing views from the balcony (if you are in one of the two upper floors). There is a nice bar inside (however, it was closed on Sunday). They have some sandwiches, beer, coffee, pastel del nata and more. I stayed with my best friend and we got our own individual beds.

Pretty cold at night and 2 blankets in the closet wasn’t enough but it could be a personal preference. The walk up the hill absolutely destroyed my calves which I didn’t take into consideration when I booked the place but it laid the ground for more hiking around.

Beautiful view, sunrise on the left side (I would wake up early just to view the sunrise from my balcony), pool outside, very clean, all the necessities available

Very noisy throughout the night with guests coming and going and cars passing by, maybe this was worse as we were in a budget room close to the entrance gates and reception. No air con or fan which in the height of summer might be a problem but we visited in October so it was cooler anyway.

Good views and lovely to have a refreshing dip in the pool after being out all day. Very clean and safe feel to it. Good location as it is close to city centre but worth noting it is located on a steep hill like most of Funchal! Friendly and helpful staff.

A lot of mosquitos who do not make any sound, so they are difficult to kill. Unfortunately, only one power socket in the room. Walk from the town is a bit of a hike, but doable in 10-15min. If you go to buy lots of water, better take a cab.

Coffee machine was a really nice touch. View was great. Spotless clean. Very spacious. Nice pool. Life music on Friday night at the snackbar.

The shower curtain was quite dirty on the bottom could have been changed but everything else was very clean. Quite noisy as you can hear doors banging and people leaving at early hours. Noise travels from the centre due to being on a hill but not an issue for us. Tight space to park a car down the side of property so we parked our car on the road as we didn’t want to risk scratching the rental car but not an issue as there was plenty of road parking.

Great views of Funchal, good facilities and nice pool area. Bar is open and always staff on hand if needed. Requested a iron before stay and it was in the room when we arrived.
