What they call the spa, should just be called an indoor pool filled with noisy children and uncomfy chairs. Checkin experience was pretty average and not the usual friendly checkin we get when we travel to Madeira

We landed up not staying as our flight got rescheduled to the same day but we checked in and used what they call the spa and went to the room which was extremely spacious - rather large actually with a gorgeous view over the ocean Location is lovely, along the ocean

There was no wifi signal in my room and elsewhere at the hotel. Neither the staff when contacted was able to help. But my iPhone functioned normally when I moved outside the hotel. Anywhere in the area and elsewhere.

Some items we expected to find were not there ie a tray and small coffee cups. Lack of pictures on walls or any decorative items.

Food was good. Location excellent. Seeing a folk group in full swing was a very pleasant surprise. Staff at breakfast extremely attentive and helpful.

- hot tub / jacuzzi with cold water - indoor swimming pool open only until 18.30 - studio with a kitchen is not equiped with a dish soap/sponges (guests are supposed to buy it themselves) - 'free' shuttle bus to Funchal (mentioned in the description) costs 5 euro one way

- very clean rooms - new furniture - nice view - tasty breakfasts - friendly stuff

Breakfast was not bad but crowded since the restaurant serves for 3 quite big hotels. Access to the ocean is limited, pools are small and shallow so don’t rely on them if you like to swim. Audience mainly german speaking 50+ couples, don’t if it’s good or bad for you, just an observation.

Nice place overall, we had a room with a sea view with sunsets and sunrises. Spacious rooms with a kitchen, looks like brand new. Good wifi connection. Parking lot will cost you 5€ extra per day. Close to the airport and to Funchal. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot small cafes and restaurants close by with very good food.

Breakfasts could be way better. Not what you usually expect in 4 stars hotel. Especially fruits - canned peach, canned pineapple. On the island of everlasting spring with plenty of fresh fruits any time of the year. There were no bathrobes and slippers in the room

Terrific view from the room and excellent location! Spaceous room with kitchenette and big balcony. Amazing SPA, pools (outdoor and indoor (really warm!) and tanning areas on the rocks. Quality gym.

Really nice hotel. We choosed room with sea view. The view was stunning, nothing around to disturb us. The room itself was cery big and had everything we needed for our stay. AC was working correctly, we warmed up a little the room during the night. There are some parking places just near the hotel entrance. Nearby there were some nice restaurants. Breakfasts were nice but everyday was almost the same.

The breakfast buffet was okay, but didn't really meet our expectations. I would say there were decent options.

I ordered a cake from the hotel for my sister's birthday and they went above and beyond our expectations. The hotel staff were lovely and provided information about things to do. The view from our room was stunning.
