It was house, where live old woman and man, despite they don't speak much english, we were satisfied with our stay. Woman was so kind and helpful, she showed us everything we needed. We had also our own bathroom (we stayed in double-bedroom). We could use kitchen with fridge, cooker... The surroundings was silent and calm.

It’s a little bit far away from the center.

the host is nice and the place is comfortable in general. but the first night the shower had no hot water.

Uncorfontable, small bed (short and narrow). It isn't hotel, it is a bedrom in the house, old man and woman live there.

Quite space. Street wasn't noisy. Outdor windows blinds.

Toilet/WC is a bit congested!

1) The hosts are warm and cooperative and very amazing, they make everything so comfortable for. They understand little English and there was no problem with the arrangements. 2) The room was cozy and well designed and the tiny balcony gives you the amazing morning lights. 3) Your private space is prioritised.

Very comfortable room with private bathroom which was awesome. It was quiet at night. Very good value for money, if you don't mind walking/bus to city centre.

Toilet has really little space (in width). Street noise is really loud (there is only little traffic, but if there is a car in the it sounds like it is driving over you) Matrass is really soft Floor smells like cat

Be prepared with Portuguese. It was a bit awkward to get around each other with the language barrier. Like it was not self-understable where to put the key before leaving, what is okay to use in the kitchen, etc. But it was okay.

This house is like a museum with little pupetts and masks, paintings. The separate bedroom was isolated, cosy and quite. There is a terrace where you can sit and eat. The neighborhood is not very far from the centre, but to take a bus is more convenient. Only come here if you are comfortable living with other people, even if the rooms are apart, because this is a family home originally. The host was very kind and helpful.

The room is very old and you can see it. There were bed bugs, so truthfully, it ruined our stay as everyday we woke up with new red very itchy bites all over us. We looked like we had a serious rash and it took very long time to heal.

it was a bit of a walk to the main town (which we didn’t mind!) however Ubers are quite cheap so you can easily book these if you don’t want to walk!

For the price it had everything we wanted! A clean room with a private shower and toilet! The hosts were lovely!

We liked that there is a fully equipped kitchen. The room was of good size there is a terrace. The bed is comfortable. There is a supermarket nearby. Well decorated house. The toilet was very tight which creates unfriendliness.

The room was damp and smelled musty. The mattress was old and you could feel every spring and the pillows were lumpy. The small space heater didn't work well and there were no windows. The blankets smelled musty and there was an old blood stain on the comforter. They also didn't specify on the app that it was cash only. That's really important to know. The lady spoke a few words of English and some Spanish and communication was difficult. The listing said multiple languages were spoken and this was incorrect. There were no temporary art galleries unless you count all the dolls and African masks in the house. Based on the listing, the actual venue came up short. They need to update their information so it's accurate.

The old lady who ran it tried her best to be helpful.

We paid in cash for two nights. Bed bugs attacked us and we ran away at 2am on the first night. That night we were forced to sleep in the car. I counted at least 40 insect bites on my body. We had to book a last minute for the second night elsewhere. I contacted the hosts but they insinuated that the insects were brought by us. No refunds of course

Everything was really old and not very cosy. And it is a half-hour walk to the city centre, which at night can be a problem

For the price, though could not ask more. And despite being far away from the city centre, there are multiple bus stops

Comfortable room - it had private bath and WC, big double bed, extra towels, hairdryer, extra sheets, etc. overall - great place to stay. area at night was silent. there was big window in attic so room was always filled with fresh air

Friendly Lady owner, good location, two heaters in the room ( is important during winter in Portugal), good hairdryer. The design of indoor is so impressive; doll collection, African and Asian masks on the walls, it makes unforgettable impression.Very clean, WiFi connection is strong and stable. Self service Laundry nearby. As a bonus - lovely cat🥰 I'm happy i chose this accommodation in Porto. Hopefully will visit it again soon ☺️ Thanks a lot for comfortable stay!
