Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Kids pool was very cold and adults pool was warm, but no kids under 16 allowed in it so we could not use it.
The room was good and spacious, not too far from the pool.

The car park next to the apartment was noisy into the night and early hours. There seemed to be a lot of travellers staying in it. Dogs barking and a lot of strange vehicle activity in the early hours . It felt a little unsafe.
Very well equipped. Lovely pools. Really lovely apartment.

The beds were extremely firm, great if you like a firm mattress but uncomfortable for those of us who prefer softer - my hips were killing me by the end of our stay!
Fantastic location a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Great pool area, on site restaurant is fantastic and staff there are amazing! The apartment was extremely spacious and very well appointed. Has everything you need - fully equipped kitchen, laundry and beautiful bathrooms.

Late arrival meant greeting by security guard who could have been a bit friendlier.
Great resort with good quality rooms. Everything was well laid out and tidy, could not fault the cleanliness. Reception staff during the day were great, really helpful and professional. Luz is a lovely village and I would not hesitate to stay here again when we come back.

The pool wasn’t heated for January but it was still nice to sit around.
Great location, good parking. Excellent view of the pool from poolside with great balconies. Fully stocked kitchen.

There was no dish soap in the kitchen. The TV is not connected to the internet.
Apartment is very spacious and clean. Personal is friendly and polite. Location is great, close to the beach in Luz as well as restaurants. It is rather affordable in December

Underground garage had a very steep and narrow entry. Not usable with our rental car (Ford Focus Station wagon) with a useless "sports package". Good street parking available, though. Elevator exists, but it will not stop at the street level entry. Slippery tiles in the pool area and in the hallways and outside stairs of the houses. Little kids WILL slip and fall no matter how careful they walk, and adults should also take care. The "Slippery when wet" signs are not really a solution. Who designs buildings like these?
Great resort, walking distance to the beach, very good maintenance status, professional staff. Nice pool area, kid's playground... we enjoyed our time there very much.

as ground floor, limited views but big veranda and garden to compensate. a few basics in the kitchen (oil, salt and pepper, washing up liquid) would have been helpful

Upon arrival the receptionist wasn’t very helpful and didn’t understand our needs regarding checking in, my son was poorly and we arrived at 1pm although the cleaners had finished our room we had to wait in the rain by the pool for our room. I had to call again and plead for our room , we were finally let in at 3pm. The instructions to find our room were not clear as we were told it was 40-1D and we couldn’t see this for a long time people were trying to help us to find the room it was displayed as 40-D

The beds were too hard for our liking. The pool could be a tad warmer for October.
Beautiful complex, quiet, clean, spacious and just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Fabulous shower, good amenities in the apartment, air conditioned.
