Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Kuwaitthe parking was far from the hotel , and the elevator didn't take you from the basement to the ground floor, so you have to walk the entire distance.

Saudi ArabiaThe breakfast was located in the Al Bidda hotel located in another building. Not too much of an issue though.
Location is excellent - right in the heart of Souq Waqif. Room was clean and staff was very responsive. The hotel gives you a stamped receipt that allows you to park for free in the underground parking.

Belgium1. The switch between small and big shower did not work properly: when switching to one of them, the other is leaking. The shower area feels too small, excess of water splashes on the floor. Not a big problem, but it does not make a good impression. 2. There was basically no place to conveniently hang towels either in the room or in the bathroom, we used hangers for dress for that! There was 2 small hangers on the shower door with bathrobes, wich we could move to the cupboard and put our towels on them, but we did not realize that we could do so. It would be more comfortable to have a pair of wide towel hangers installed. 3. There was no free socket in the room to charge phone. I had to disconnect the kettle to put my phone. Usually, more sockets are expected to be available in the room. 4. The lighting switches are not super convenient (they are only small buttons and need good precision of your finger to switch the right one:), and even with clear signs of wear off. 5. At last, it may be puzzling to find this hotel if you don't have a map. Luckily, the staff from a neighbor hotel guided us to this one. Apparently, there are several hotels combined under "Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels", and our particular hotel was called "Arumaila". I realized this only after travel when I specifically looked into the detailes of my booking. Apparently, you can check in at any of the hotels of this group and be guided to the right one by the staff. As you see, we did not have a major problem, but we were a bit puzzled about several practical aspects.
The hotel is nicely located in the heart of historical area, 5 min walk from metro station. The room is beautiful and quiet, and the bed is comfortable. The staff is very friendly and a welcome fruit plate is delivered to the room, which was a nice surprise. Diverse lighting is installed in the room. The toiletries (the soap, shampoo, etc) have pleasant flavor and are very nice. Although the shower not so much.

United States of AmericaMy only feedback about the property would be more explanation upfront, but the many hotels and many locations and options, this was a bit confusing.
First, let me tell you how amazing the spa is! The staff went above and beyond, and were gracious and lovely every interaction we had. I cannot recommend the Hammam massage more. A staff member insured that we were driven to the spa and picked up with no moments of waiting for them and we’re so happy and willing to be of assistance. The spa was only around the corner, but he insisted he walk us from the door to the spa as well.

QatarI have to leave the building for breakfast. The room is either really bright with the lights on or very dark with them off. Why is there only one bedside lamp? Difficult to plug in phone charger on both sides of the bed - I had to move the bedside tables myself. Not many tea bags supplied. Coffee pods - 2 out of 3 were decaffeinated - why?
Comfortable, check in easy. Good Location of course

FranceBreakfast was in another building. When not lucky to don’t have the gulf car immediately available it is too bad to wait for that. We asked for a small additional bed for our baby. It was not that functional and safe…

United KingdomThe room lacked a decent view from the windows - basically they were blocked out as they overlooked a back street. Souq Wakif is a vibrant area and a view of the market place would have been perfect.
We were upgraded to a deluxe suits from a junior suite. The Deluxe suite was spacious and well decorated. Facilities in the room were good as was bathroom and shower. Biggest shower room I have experienced.
